How can i be Supreme Commander

For newcomers to ask questions to the other users... this section will usually answer most questions... requesting resources (naq/UUs/ATs) is not to be done here...

How can i be Supreme Commander

I have the Fleet Commander status, i dont have commander only myself.

How can i make people to accept me, they dont have the Make This My Commander text box in my planet page !!

please help me

Only people that want officers have the join this commander button available, my advice to you is to go in the recruitment forums and find a comander that way, they will let you join then.
Keep smiling it makes people wonder what your up to.

Ah, i get you now, sorry bout that. You need to tick the box at the bottom of your command center page that says accept new officers then press update and you should be able to have officers join you now.

i have that TICKED, just even now i unticked and ticked back again, and even now my friend doesnt see the MAKE THIS MY COMMANDER text box !

i have Fleet Commander in my commander page, i must change it to Supreme commander, i thing this is the thing i have to change...

the question is HOW !!! ???

To become a supreme commander you require 25 officers, and if your friend is a new player he cannot choose a commander for about the first 2 weeks or so, search in the newbie/faq section for more information about these topics

also, you will not be able to set a commander from the same ip, so if your friend is trying to join from the computer you're logged in on, it's not going to work.

Slight Correction to what Spoon said. You need 25 officers to get Absolute Commander. A few officers will net you Supreme.
Even if he is new, he will have the 'Make Commander' button, it just will not work when he clicks it.
I'm inclined to side with Psi here, your using the same computer or your using computers behind the same router with similar IP's. That's why it will not allow him to make you his commander.

Also... you did click 'update' right?, just clicking the box wont do it.

Opps, good point i had forgotten about that one, been an ancient to long to remember, ascending really muddles the brain
