Why the Na'vi's SHOULD NOT have their own forum.....

Supporting this, and saying you will post in the section if created are two ENTIRELY different things. The point of this is, I believe, to get a count of how many ACTIVE POSTERS there will be in the section. Not just getting all your friends to support it. I HIGHLY doubt all the people who have posted "support" will actually be an active participant in the forum if created.

Navi is not stargate thats the only reason needed the only reason I put up with this race is cause I have two awesonme friends in this race dastupy and RoKet.

Im quite on the fence about the whole thing. On one hand anything that gets people playing and having fun is a bonus for the game. What harm does an extra forum add to the collection of cluttered and useless ones we have already.The fact its garnered enough activity to even petition for a forum makes it more deserving then any other none stargate race.

On the other hand its blatantly a fad, and within a month or 2 the whole thing will fall into the lull that the original race forums are in.

There is no point to this why do they need it they dont if this goes threw theres gonna be many more races who arent related to stargate asking for a section and then they will become inactive like the rest of the race sections.

yeah, all those threads weren't nesicary? were they? and if so many threads were required why not create your own forums?
i can understand the great publicity you guys gain from threads like this. but even in the past few days, the whole na'vi thing seems to be dying down. and remember before the custom names there were a few months of scrubs rp too. i know not directly ingame related but it was strong and still is floating about (eh semper? )

my point being, there are phases and some last longer than others, but as semper and mordack have said is that its too early too convince us, you must stand the test of time.

of course they shouldnt have their own race section,
just because 2-3 people went to see avatar and went 'ZOMG GUYS I SAW DIS MOVIE AND IT HAD THIS COOL RACE CALLED NAVI, IT WAS TEH BEST' doesnt mean they get their own section, its nothing but a craze following an overhyped film not worth the dvd's it will be sold on.

Before expanding race types beyond the SG foundation (the game is evolving, dont stop it) the current forum should be cleaned, reorganized and set up allot better than it is..now..this is not a slam on anybody or anything..I am merely making a point to make what you have the best it can be before expanding.

"Na'Vi" should not be allowed a section in the Stargatewars forum because:
1) i have never seen a "Na'Vi" in any sgw movie or episode
2) it would ruin the entire race thing because why not let FUALL have a section? their much bigger than the "Na'Vi" last count for FUALL was 222 active members (thats excluding anyone on vac mode)

and thirdly and most importantly Na'Vi is copyrighted

from what i know Tauri, Asgard and replicator are not copy writed as tauri is an old english girls name Asgard is what ever and replicator is self explanitary
