change ascended race when reascending

i noticed it offered other races than the one i already am....

what would have happened if i chose a race that is not the one i'm already using on ascended server?

would my ascended account reset to 0, and my main not get the additional 5%?

but i wanted to know what happens to my ascended account if i'm say AJNA on ascended and choose say ORI when i reascend....

yes you can, it offered me all the four races, and i chose the one i already was....

So, if that doesn't change it, I assume that means there is no way to change your ascended race if you ever for some reason dislike your initial choice?
