deni is it possible you wern't fully awake yet and deleted the report instead of closing it (buttons are next to eachother).

cuz i don't think an e-mail is sent when a report is deleted

I do not know what makes you think that it was me deleting the reports?

I have closed many reports in the GC (if we are referring to the GC) but I cannot be sure it was me as I do not know what post was reported?

It could have been any other GM or General mod.

Have you checked the mod logs? If a report is closed or deleted it is recorded in the logs.

well as you said, you close alot of reports, so i'm just asking if it is possible. i can check the mod logs but then i would need a date to when it happend

BTW C2, atm there is no officail procedure for how reports are to be handled...

So, basicly, theory:

Someone posts an insult wich is reported by another person. If reported person is some Mod's friend, report can be deleted and so cleaned friends account. The person who posted insult can post another insults and if users will contact forum admins, they will simply say that they dont have rules for cases like this.

Tetris, i think that we are living in 21st centuy and we know that even if people dont break rules or rights, but casue something, they can be judged. Especialy on net, where ppl can hide identitis, must be a control.

If you didnt get an email about the closure of the reports, then they were never closed, just deleted.
And theres no way to check who deleted them. Any mod could do it.

Okay guys, I will just quote the last pm sent by me about the topic:

I just checked moderator logs, where it actually logs if a report is closed or deleted.
So I filtered it do Deni in the last 3 months and no reports were deleted by her.
She closed a lot of reports in that topic. But if you checked the notification box, you should have recived an email.

So its either you not checking it or an error in the system (unlikely).

What I can tell you is if next time you come to me in time I will check a wider set of things (what is unable now since it was too far back in time.)

From the moderator logs, only admins can delete any line. So it can be called a good source of information.
