this game is no more fun, so why would smone bring a friend to play. $$$ has ruined it a lot

money makes the world go round, nothing is free. Even the free stuff in RL one way or another u end up paying for it.

Even death is expensive now adays lol

lets put this simply though, why would he change it.
he has a constant income as the three most important resources are buyable
if he pays for a host he' profiting but if he has his own server then he is seriously raking in the cash

It's not about "changing" the game, it's about "updating" the game and keeping it fresh. If a year goes by and nothing new is added people will get bored very quickly and leave. People leave = less $$ being spent.

You don't seem to understand the point tho.

It's not as simple as us getting new people to join. We can tell people about it, we can encourage people to play but we can't make them play.

What will make them play is an Admin that is visible on the forums and in the "game updates". That is what is lacking and that is what will prevent new people from coming and staying.

Like it or not the $$ arguement is very much a part of the problem of not having new players.

Also, if you had a job that you found dull and boring and didn't like much, and you had a mate that was looking for a new job, would you encourage him to apply for the same job that you find dull and boring???

Jason is not the only problem, there are many in the community who cause issues (Cheats, hackers, scammers, etc, etc) Jason is just the biggest problem, and well over 50% of them.

Sure it needs new players but it also needs a new admin. One that's active and actually listens to us. Well it'd be enough if Jason changed his attitude towards the game and started giving it the attention it deserves.

I notice your involvment and participation is way down as well, care to explain?

Simple facts are Jason adds poorly thought out updates, then never goes back and fixes the problems with them. Look at ascention. Left to rot for 2 yrs, then put in updates that go from one extreme to the other, and he walks way again leaving it to rot.

He halfassed an update for alliance banks, now a year and 7 or 8 months later he still hasn't acted. Only update he did do in a timely manner was the MGM FORCED update, it might cut into his $$ making so he acted.

If you ask me, he doesn't get so much out of actual money spent in this game, as more resources go via trades player-player. But i might be wrong tho...

I personally buy in game's black market when I want to buy naq with curr€ncy, but I doubt everyone does it for their money trades..
I think the player to player trades is majority.

Nope those ain't the only problem , this game spins now for what 5 to 6 years ? Imagine that you were the newcomer to this game you start exploring !

But what do you see 300 mill army , 400 mill army , 600 mill army ...

I wonder would hes eyes be rolling out of hes face ?

People that are newcomer to this game won't be playing for long , simple and i'll put it in a context

If you aren't on the train you've missed it !

Means if you did not play this game the first 2 years you won't be able to tag allong unless spending heaps of cash on the game.

So why bother encouraging people to play while it only will reduce ?
