A Petition to End the Server War

Be realistic, it wont end until some future game update makes wars winnable, or unless the 2 sides can agree on a winning condition/judge.

This war effects everyone in this game believe it or not. Prices of UU have plummeted, prices for and AT's themselves are pretty hard to come by, people who have join up as an officer or a commander get massed down, all other stuff.

I guess the matter is everyone is ready to see it end and for some people to stop being stubborn. Yeah if you want to compare the concept of WW2 to a text based game the people in WW2 they weren't stubborn. Nazi Germany lay in ruins and they surrendered. Japan surrendered after losing hundreds of thousands to A-Bombs. So I mean a war that lasted for years and years in RL can end why cant it end here?

And its not just the 'neutral non war fighting people' who agree with this idea. Even without the idea a lot on both sides think this war is boring as hell, time to move on to new stuff.

The war won't end without mutual agreements that both sides will abide for the well-being of game as a whole. It's as simple as it gets.
Without this the war will start again in the matter of months, maybe even weeks and there's nothing you can do to not make it happen.

I don't believe the war has any affect whatsoever on the price of turns and UU, it's just a function of UU becoming easier to get as the average UP increases and naq becoming more available as the farms grow and the average amount farmed goes up.

As for the war ending then that is for the leaders to worry about.

Id agree with that, the increasing number of larger UP inactives means raiding is more profitable than ever before, more people raiding means more UU and less ATs to go around


@ JMX your WW2 analogy does not work, AXIS and Japan were beaten into submission. Even the so called 'losing' side in this war still grow in resources and account strengths regardless of the war, in fact the war has gone on so long now everyone is used to low/no stat style of play, and for many newer players it's the only style of play they have ever known. Also as I stated in previous threads,

Unless the empires dissolve they would just go back to old ways where they throw their weight around random massing, they farm you, but if you farm them they mass you and everyone around you..... pointless, better to fight than bend over and take it off them

I think the only way that this war would come to an end is either Jason creating a way for wars to actually be winnable, or failing that, he brings out some new very exciting updates which those in the war might want to end the war to experience. However those chances are slim pickings.

Either way a lot of people are bored with or without the war. So unfortunately it's here to stay until Jason does something with the game.
