A Petition to End the Server War

I don't want people to think i'm whining about it. I'm just simply stating facts. JT, you and I have had many conversations about the state of things. So you know exactly how complex the issues are.

Petition away though people. Like I said I doubt it will make any difference other than adding to DDE's massing list.

Yes the issues can be complex, as complex as people make them. The more line items and clauses there are the more issues there will be. There is no need for so much red tape. There isnt as much stubborness as people have been led to believe.

Personally, I think this is the best idea I have heard since the war started.

I agree with you on that. When you think back on it, neither side has won, only both have lost.

anyone who argues against this, is most likely, the jackass that everyone talks about behind there back.


both sides have lost great players due to this war, so tell me, how can you call it a win when you've lost valuable and great players? and the same goes to the other side, how can you claim victory when you've lost so much as well? Its easy, you cant.


this war is nothing but a **Filtered** measuring contest. one side thinks its better then the other, and that is all.

If you people haven't realized, its how the world has revolved for ....well....since the dawn of man, and it's not likely to change anytime soon.


so the best advice i can give to anyone who is new to this game is, don't take it personal , always bounce back, and remember above all else...IT'S ONLY A GAME.

maybe in a year or two when all of us oldies get bored with the war and the game and we quit.. and the newer generation come in maybe some of them can uphold some decent morals and play the game in the proper way as we once did.


now yes i am in delta, and this is not a shot at anyone, its just my opinion and some facts thrown in. i think what JMX is trying to do is meant to do well, but i don't think it will actually stand up.

I believe the only way this will end is if the admin forces it to end.. and people who do not abid by it get banned, weather it be perma banned or temp banned....BUT.. we know he wont do that as the war generates some pretty nice cash flow im guessing

I never said i wanted a ceasefire or a surrender ( well.. TTF could surrender.. i'd be cool with that, but anyways ) I simply stated why a ceasifre wont happen and better yet if it does why it wont stay.

think about it.. we've all been here for years.. and we've have a few server wars. this being the biggest and longest. until we quit it will never end.

just like the korean war.. korea will never be united as long as the people are still alive who were involved in the korean war..there will be no unified korea.

its applies to this as well, until alot of the old timers and people with grudges quit the game, the server will never be done, because it will ALWAYS be the same two sides just with different names..

ive been massed twice since rejoining the war.. and both by the same exact person..you honestly think i want to give up free farms that easy JT?

Your last terms missed out the singular, most important thing. It was told to your diplomat point blank, do not remove that term, alter it, argue it, but do not remove it, yet you had to do it. You didn't even EXPLORE the possibilities that were told to be inherent there, just ignored it.

This is an amusing diversion thread but anyone who seriously wants the war to end, emphasis on the seriously, needs to have their alliance leadership approach OE/DDE and actually negotiate.

I think Brdavs has a point. Lay out the next talks publicly. That way no on can say this was said, this wasnt said, etc. I'm sure the admins and mods of this forum can create a section to where everyone can view but only certain leaders from both sides can post.

And whether the war is decided on an agreement or the flip of a coin (be cool though) or whatever I think its just time to just move on.

well I am gonna surrender. Already told you few days ago. I've accomplished what I've wanted to in this war. Done the damage I've wanted to. Nothing's going on. I can still grow just as much outside the war. I mean if both sides get off to massing defences 100bil or less with nox on and MS's sent out then go keep at it. This is a lame excuse for a war.
