perhaps TTF should comunicate better amongs themselfs so they know whats going on. or perhaps they should come with a creative proposal that can be worked with

not only would alot of neutrals but in with useless iritating cmments it would be very unbalanced talks. in all logic FUALL would send DDE 1IC and 2IC and OE 1IC and 2IC (perhaps ETL or REK would but in if they please). but who would TTF send ?

It`s a tad hard coming up with a "creative proposal" when what`s not pritty much spot on your sides proposal is rejected and branded as unwillingness to negotiate heh.

This is why I posted this in that first thread, because fingers were again pointed at "guilty parties". And they can freely be pointed without having to back any words up as long as you hide everything.

And I grew tired of these accusations people throw left and right without either knowing the full story or with knowing it but knowingly forgetting certain things to advance the PR slander war.

It`s not getting us anywhere and it does more harm than good.

We have a couple dozen page thread of diplomat reports, listing and shortly commenting all proposals, withdrawn proposals and counter proposals from both sides. I`m sure you have a simmilar thing.

Give them both to a 3rd party and have him/her do a timeline of actual proposals.

if nothing else the next time someone says "well you come up with a creative proposal and stop being completley unreasonable for a change" people can actually go check what`s been happening and form their own judgments of the validity of said statements. Cos as I`ve said, our problem is that some peoples notion of "negotiation" is extremely limited to basically "I gets my way okies?".

And I honestly don`t mind that. Each sides prerogative.

As long as you then have the backbone of not accusing the other side of lack of "any flexibility/cooperation/constructive contribution" as the sole "problem" of the situation.
That`s hypocracy, demagogy, and outright dishonesty and diception of people, and that I do mind.



I don`t think anyone going over our correspondance can honestly accuse TF of a lack of cooperation, lack of coordination etc.

I mean take your last post here as a perfect example... where do you get off slanting us for lack of communication, painting that as some major problem, when we were 95% agreed when YOUR side back out cos you didnt have stuff sorted out on a very fundamental inter one empire level. The same empire that propsed a deal backed out of it citing terms they themselves proposed as unacceptable, when everybody else allready agreed. - see, these are the abusive hpocritical abstract BS PR swipes neither of us wouldnt be able to afford if everything like that was common knowledge and that dont help but harm the process.

We cant agree? Fine. But lets lay it all out and cut all this BS.

Honestly FUA, what's the hold up? What harm could be done if the negotiations would be visible to public from now on?
I mean after-all all you could lose is an option of being hypocritical about all of this and the option of withholding the information that would make your empire look bad

And why would that work any better than the delegations & 1/1 rep talks we`ve been having peroidically going around in the same old loop heh? I`ll bet hard currency on the fact the result would be the same as the previous what 100 talks?

Btw the fact that 2ic of an empire supposed to negotiate and find a solution to a 2 year conflict cant even be bothered to pretend to read a post does fill one with optimisim in regards of our abbility to hammer this out behind closed doors doesnt it heh.

But seriously, this isn`t even so much about succes. I most likely would not work indeed. But it would eliminate a really big portion of the mudslinging ammo & "fog of war", perhaps paving the way for succes someday down the line.
Setting up a more transparent format that might or might not work. It`s not sure. Only sure thing is that we`re kinda stuck in a perpetuum mobile of selfregenerating negativity lol. I`m not saying that changing the format would be an auto win, I`m saying that it`d imo atleast cut down on the available negativity.
Which is itsel reward enough these days heh.
