Now I'm not taking any sides here because I see both sides of the arguement... but I will say this much. For those saying it's impossible to catch the $ spenders... it will be as long as you are farmed all day and only bank your PPT naq.

I came back on the last Friday of August 2009 to a 398b raw MS. I farm for naq 4 days every two weeks and I'm on PPT the other 10 days. My MS is now over 1.2T raw. If I didn't invest a lot of naq into planets and constantly waste trillions of naq on ascensions, my MS could be a lot larger. I could easily sell tons of naq farmed for $ and then repurchase more naq... but I just don't want to deal with being scammed or waste valuable time that I could be farming because I have a full bank and need a buyer. You'll never grow if you don't put forth the effort. Too many people sit around and say "I can't, I can't, I can't" without even really trying to put forth an effort. Sitting there and banking turn income and training the UU from your UP is growth at a snail's pace.

I just laugh hysterically at people building raw UPs to 1m/day or cry about losing that to ascend further. Big deal. that's 2-3 average raid targets and I gain that UP in a as much time as it takes for me to raid it... 5 minutes maximum. Why wait a full day to gain 1m UU when you can get it in 5 minutes. Same thing goes for those people that run to PPT to gain resources. Are you serious? You go on PPT and wait 4 days to gain 6T naq? I'm sorry, but if either of these describes you... then you haven't learned to play this game.

The resources you need are out there, you just need to go after them. The only thing holding you back is your ability to get more ATs and time needed to do that.

I'm not saying you need to put in as much effort as I have, but you definitely need to put in more effort than just banking and training. I definitely don't recommend putting in as much effort as I do. You'll burn yourself out very fast.

While I may not agree with $ spending, I also realize that if people didn't spend $ then I wouldn't have access to as many ATs as I go through in a day... and neither would many of you. My only complaint about $ spenders is about those that abuse the 60 minute PPT you get for buying ATs. I don't understand why admin would give someone a PPT for a resources that can't be stolen.

Nicely put Dresnov, but the thing is that Borek thinks everything revolves about SGW apparently. Apparently you need to go to an employee on a job interview and say "Can I get a job? I REALLY need it to earn some cash so I can build my MS up on online game called stargatewars!"

Max while that is true that you can get your MS there without using $$ it just takes time and devotion. But I bet some of duderanch's cookies went into that MS too, and it's not like he hands them over every day

we cannot get rid of them so we haf't to jsut admit they are great account they build and its not our loss guys because when their work gets hektic what they gonna do .

so why bother in a few months they gonna have their accounts their at a cheap price for us to spend little amounts of $ buying them.

so it works out for everyone.

Quite the opposite, you are just saying that those with the most time on their hands to play the game should automatically "win". b/s, if someone wants to spend a small amount of their weekly wages paying for resources so they can spend their game time actually having fun instead of wasting their time "having" to farm just to mass, why wouldn't they?

To be honest it's stupid to "play" the game for 40+ hrs a week when you can go get a job and spend 3-4 hrs worth of wages (less if you have a well paid job) just buying the resources.

Like i keep saying, time is money.

Do you honestly think Qacol (for example) has more or less fun when he logs in to his monster account and trashes his enemies? He earns his money, he can spend it on whatever he wants, he chooses to spend some of it on SGW, supporting the game for all of us as well as individual sellers who need the money for whatever reason.

Simple truth is you're all just jealous he can kick your ass, recover instantly from any attempts to retaliate on him etc. Suck it up peeps, his account is better than yours, he's having fun playing, whining about it i dare say just makes him laugh.

At the end of the day its just how each individual looks at it.
And i doubt too many people are jealous of Qacol or anyone else account..and you will also find that those who build their own account with their own work enjoy the game and their accounts just as much or if not more then someone that spends $$.
And as you said..I couldnt care less what players do with their money..its not my problem at all...but it does effect this game alot.

Well, considering I'm part of the middle level of $players$ in SGAW, I don't have the right to do real criticism against $monsters$ in sgw...even though sgw is made a way that $$ are less needed than in sgaw (there you still need to spend $$ to buy a PPT, and to get ressources as there's no real market, just transfer ressources 5 times a week, or convert four times a week a limited amount of ressouces, and you CANNOT buy ATs or troops) but they still help I concede.

Define Big player? Big account, Big ability or big reputation? I dont think the dollars arguement matters much anymore. The game is so easy to play and its not impossible to mass anyone anymore, Technically id say $ players are at a disadvantage, if they arnt good enough to get there without it, then there lack of abilitys will find them out in the end when someone real comes along and knocks them down.

Exactly what I'm poiting out Buck. These big spenders arent that good. Only thing that's keeping the above SOME people right now is time. In time the people not using $ will catch up and turn them back into what they used to.
