Why does TTF want to be like us so badly?

I'm not sure that DDE were the first people in the history of the universe, or even the game, to come up with the idea of awards.

But surely the fist alliance in SGW to host alliance awards annually

or why not like any organization?

every company gives out awards at the end of the year, maybe they just want be like them to give some moral to the troops.. what if it was to create a bigger community like with oscars..?

Us in SU have had medals (not annual awards, but it still does fit in the category of awards I guess) since we created it and sure some other alliances might've had it before us, but we haven't seen them and decide "WOW, we wanna have medals too to make us look more serious", it's a way to keep track of who has done what in the past and basically thank that particular player for doing that with giving him a medal, as some medals are very hard to get.

As pointed out above way more alliances than TTF have awards. DDE wasn't the inventor of the awards.

Next thing you know they're gonna be like ooooooo look they're PPTing or Farming like us. OMG! They wanna be just like us.
