Take the Warhammer mythos, for example. Plenty of Gods, beings of the Warp , and the Emperor of Mankind is the God Emperor, due to his massive, semi-omnipotent presence in the warp.

tekki: has taken over the day to day leadership of the omegan empire as the OE 1IC.
zeekomkommer: has been asigned to assist tekki in the day to day leadership of the omegan empire as the OE 2IC
1horseman: has been entrusted with leadership of omega allegiance and will manage it from day to day for ETL
