ascension was made to clear up the top 100 and stop the power blocking from the players that got a head start now when forum made ascension he said something along the lines of "i doubt many will ascend more than twice a YEAR" now we all know that is bs now people have ascended 6 times (some may have done more) and now there back in the top 100 blocking up the ranks they will never reascend because after the first six ascension you only get a 1% boost to your main account

what i would like to see is FORCED ascension it would make the players in the top 100 ascend alot more than they usualy would if they dont want to ascend all they have to do is drop out of the G&R area and allow the other players a chance to ascend

forced ascension in my idea you would need alot of G&R points say 5k now to ascend you only need 1001 G&R points so the player who risks being forced to ascend as plenty warning to ascend on his/her own terms or drop out of the G&R area if they dont do this they will be forced to ascend with everything they have

now no one lives for ever (you cant stay in G&R area for to long) so you die and ascend

Yes, and while we are forcing those players who have already ascended to do something that might not be in the best interests of either their main or ascended account, why don't we come up with a way to do the same to everyone else.

I know why, because it is in the best interests of everyone that they get to decide what will best advance their character, according to what their goals are in this game, and we should give them every freedom to do so within the rules.

And what if they don't want to reascend but instead want to be ranked No.1 in main?

for every ascension you do the amount of G&R points needed to be forced to ascend would go up

first forced ascension 5k G&R
second forced ascension 7.5k G&R

and so on

so everytime you ascend you need more and more to be fored to ascend again



we need some way of making the game more competive everytime a new update comes out like the mothership for instance the higher up players got them in one turn others waited for months to get one some still are if a player starting today and i mean a branded new account it would take him months to ascend with out any help short of a reset i see no other way of making the game alittle more competive

I agree that in the interests of keeping new players we need to make it easier for them to catch-up. I don't however think that forcing players to reascend is the way to do it. Some players ascended just to see what it was like and don't enjoy it so they don't plan to ever reascend and seldom, if ever, play much in ascension. Some players have never been interested in ascending, even though they could have easily done so. Putting all other players aside for the moment, what you are proposing would punish the former and reward the latter, even though the latter, relatively speaking, will have stronger accounts since they didn't suffer any losses from ascending.

I'm sorry, I don't like this idea and I'm sure many others will feel exactly the same.

How long do you think it took those who started in Februari? Exactly, months. So why should the new guys have it any easier? They already have the luxury of being able to farm a lot more than we did when we started, and pretty much everything is geared towards making it hard to stay up there and easy to get there. If you want a G&R spot, just work for it and force your way in. It's the way it works, and it's not at all as difficult as you make it out to be. Patience and a good understanding of the game are all it takes.

hence the (you may not like this) in the title but i think its a good idea and players should ascend even if they dont want to whats stoping some one never ascending and taking no.1 (most likely pay alot of real cash for it) while others play the game and ascend making it a challenge and trying to rebuild brigon was in the top 30 many many months ago never had ss ascended and took everything he had because he had no ss to pass his stuff no to some one like the talentless players have done

forum said i doubt many players will ascend more than twice a year now am guessing he said that thinking players would be taking alot if not everything with them which not many will do

because there talentless they have no skill and starting over they will be weak again and they dont like that and that kind of player wont like this suggestion and theres a hell of alot of them in this game



to Sleipnir getting a G&R spot for me is easy i may have new forum account but have been playing alot longer than my sign up date to the forum
