Well we'll see how this update fixes the game. My prediction: it wont, it'll just accelerate the death of the game until all that's left are the old school players massing each other repeatedly.

lol, hooch, although i semi-agree with you, what it comes down to as fara as who will be playing is who truely enjoys the game. i used to play it as something to do in spare time at school. if this would have happened then, i'd be out for sure. but now that im actually INVOLVED in the game and having fun with it, the AT issue doesnt bother me. like i said, SGW will adapt, but i dont doubt seeing a fair bit of players drop.

yea, the game gets a little stale after a long while (like 5 yrs ), but that's not the problem. problem is publicity, cuz there's so very little.

everyone is seeing this change as such a short term thing! i dont question jason because he knows what he's doing. there's a reason HE made the game, because HE knows what he's doing. and although i dont doubt there are exceptions to this, there's reasons everyone complaining keeps playing, BECAUSE THEY DONT!

im not saying agree with everything jason does or says. if you dont, you dont. but look at the big pciture: do you really think this is MEANT to be a HUGE, PERMANENT change? more likely its something he could do to mix it up a bit to tide over the community and create a bustle while his finishes the patches and updates for the next round of them

It also kills the players who where making alot of $$ from this game, some would farm trillions and sell it, some would raid and sell it, now there are going to be very limited attack turns in a few weeks when the current supply has dried up, so raiding will slow down, farming will slow down, $$ will slow down, unless then spend $$ to get turns, in which case they will have to be great at pushing profit.

I have to agree with Z, What incentive is there for the older players to stay if they been here 5 yrs and a 6 month old account can stomp them in the ground?

Fact is the new comer HAS the advantage. The game is new and exciting to them where someone who has been here 5 yrs is bored and sick to death of it. Its called the cycle of life, the older players leave the game allowing the best of the newer players to rise up and take their places.

Now I have no issues with it taking a new player 2.5 yrs to do what took others 5 yrs, but a 6 month (or less) account competing with a 5yr old account make the game pointless by the same measure that you argue For the new accounts.

A new comer has no more of an advantage than anyone else that puts in the time and effort. The only way a new player can stomp an old player in the ground, is if the old player isn't doing **Filtered** with their account.... banking and training.

The old player reached the plague... build your MS or a couple of kickass duals.

This update appeals to the lazy ass old school players that don't want to put forth any time or effort to staying at top. So they want to slow everyone else down. It's as simple as that.

I think people are missing the point sorta. Has anyone actually done the maths on the AT generated by accounts? Here, i'll do it for you.

Each account gets 4AT/turn change.
There are at minimum (lets say) 1000 active people(top 1000)
So that's 4000AT/turn change.
24 hours in a day = 48 turn changes.
48*4000 = 192kAT generated by accounts/day
192k*7days = 1.344M AT generated/week

So, 1.3M AT generated each week. Which happens to be 2x as much as is available for people with $$ to buy each week.

Though i am curious, if everyone can answer please.
