ok first i wanna point out that i am not trying to take the piss here, the following questions are genuin proper questions to which i am looking for proper answers if anyone can help.

if you believe in god and the bible i am not trying annoy you i mearly jus wanna know a few things.

if god created the earth in the beggining, when did he find the time to create the big bang, and all the other stuff that happened before the earth existed.

if god forgives all sins how can we go to hell and what if his idea of heaven isnt my idea of heaven, it wont be heaven if i dont like it.

lust is a sin, so how do we decide who we want to spend the rest of our lives with if we want to have sex with someone before we marry them thats lust but we wouldnt marry someone we wernt attracted to.

if i was an all powerfull holy creator and i wanted people to believe in me i would show up every so often to prove i was real so that people were able to believe in me instead of just believing in something just because some book from 2000 years ago siad its real, man existed long before the bible so why did god wait all that time to let his son loose on earth to trick people into believing in his dad but wait jesus is god isnt he and his mum was a virgin so god impregnated mary but kept her a virgin and she gave birth to the thing that got her pregnant but somehow kept her virginity, anyway why did 'god' wait so long to show up then dissapear

if we all came from adam and eve and god created them in his own image doesnt that mean that god looks nothing like us because thats a whole lot of inbreeding over a very long period of time so we would look nothing like the first 2 of our species if there were only those 2 to start with.

I'm pretty sure some people need to actually look up what a "theory" is. Just to enlighten the nubs here, a theory DOES in fact have evidence to back up the assumption, but it hasn't been able to be proven as an absolute truth under every circumstance.

hey i believe that there is something out there i was just wondering why so many people blindly follow a faith and expect others to do so when it is clearly based on lies and fabrications. and i know most faith are pretty much the same and people need to believe they arent alone and they have a purpose just to try and make some sane judgement of our existence, but lets face it, everything was a big out of control thing that happend that nobody after will ever know why it happend or how creation came to be

because if we do find out what created us theres always the question what created the creator and so on and so on

God has shown up to prove his existence. Many occasions.
To answer this question we would have to look at the history.
In short, they(Israelites) were turning faith into religion and religiosity.

For law, you can say, easily, you need boundaries for freedom, its a logic paradox. A unjust law is no law at all, quoting st augstine, so do the logic, are the ten commandments justice? IMO, Yes.
Secondly, the church is made up of humans, no human is perfect. That would explain burning non-believers.

Some of the old testament was written in poetic verse, image doesn't refer to looks, but the spirit we carry.
And it is possible, highly likely, that adam and eve had purer genes than us. Hence lived longer. Inbreeding was forbidden later... for I presume genetic reasons.

just because you dont know that it has been proven, doesnt mean it hasnt.

eg. i know the big bang has been proven, images of the superheated plasma have been taken by the hubble (however many billion lightyears away, as such we know it is around the time we believe the big bang occured) their are many other things that prove it but i forget them and the pictures are the most obvious of the evidence.

scientific theories are just that. theories. they can never be proved, just supported. in fact, the accepted test of whether a theory can be considered scientific is that an expriment can be designed that will disproof it.
the structure of the atom has seen many scientific theories, all considered truth at their time, and all proved not to be accurate. doesn't ean they weren't useful at the time. much of the chemistry we learn todays was based on the old concept of electron, which we now know to not depict reality accuretly.
newton's phisics was also amended by einstain's theory of reletivity.
ask a prominnent phisicist today if distance = time * velocity for any given velocity, and you will hear a "no".
so no, scientific theories are not "Truth". any scholar of science will tell you that.
and before you bother replying, please consider the fact that i took both phisics and philosophy in school (got a 93, as-well), and one fifth of that philosophy class was philosophy of science.

i meant theorems, easy mistake. and of course theorys and even theorems arent true in the most empirical sense sense of the word, but until they are disproven (in the case of well established theorems) they are taught as truth.
