I'm bored and looking for a holiday spot.....hence, where should I go?
List your favourite places to visit and why: historical interest, wow factor, scenary, atmosphere, etc.
For me:
1) Egypt: Cruise down the Nile from Luxor to Aswan, visit Karnak, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel. Then fly up to Cairo, visit the museum and the pyramids. Go early Jan time - that's when its quietest and coolest weather.
2) Rome: Colleseum, Forum, Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Ostia Antica, So many art galleries and museums, you won't get bored.
3) Greece Trip: Athens and the Parthenon, Delphi, Olympia, Corinth....makes for a very awesome trip.
4) Paris: Eiffel Tower, Saint Chapelle, Notre Dame, Saint Denis. Much akin to Rome in many respects: you won't get bored.
5) Florida: Disney, Universal, Sea World, Bush Gardens, etc: Yes, its completely aritificial, yes, its completely commercial, yes, its completely superficial. BUT, if you go as a child or with one, you will appreciate that there is no place in the world quite like it.
So, where should I go next? I'm thinking either somewhere in Canada for the scenary....maybe Machu Picchu or Angkor Wat....any ideas?

Some of my favorites and for very different reasons
Laguna Beach - Just the ultimate in west coast beaches, not even an amazing beach but just he lifestyle and culture around it is fantastic
Aachen - One of my favorite city's in Europe, really enjoy the architecture, Although I was in poor company last time I went, I hope the next time I go im with better.
Paris - Romantic Back streets, that lead everywhere and nowhere, no where like it.
I've wanted to hit up the Grand canyon, Vegas, Cairo and Rio but they are for the future I feel.

Re: Where is Everyone's Favourite Holiday Location?
my favourite holiday location is the hammock on my porch...
vacation time 17:00-20:00 weekdays.
seeing that isn't exactly what youre looking for, i would still recommend you to visit Israel.
you can get everything here.
every kind of scenery known to man, some indigenous to Israel, history and archeology, architecture (tel aviv is the world wide center of the bauhaus style), gardening (the bahai gardens in Haifa are amongst the most beutiful in the world), active nightlife, beutiful beaches, the most beutiful girls in the world, wonderful camping and hiking areas, and so much more. and everything is really cheap, too.
catch me on MSN (atkinstom@gmail.com) if you want, i can help you with planning your vacation.

Thanks to capitalism, when your doctor tells you you require a kidney transplant to survive, you no longer can be certain if you actually need a kidney transplant or your doctor simply needs a new speedboat. Nice.
