Before I was massed earlier I would have probably been rank 1 "alliance" if I was on my own.

currently 2000 or so people registered?
rank 1 gives 2000 points at the end
rank 2 gives 1999 points and so on
that way you could have less members, but could have better ranks
and maybe have it that only your best 10 alliance members scores count.
