I have been playing for a while, but not active here on the forums, However after going to the meet up in kent I have decided to try and be more active in the community. So any advice on where to look on the forums and such would be nice, as it seems intimidating at first

As jim says, 'view active topics' is a godsend and you can join groups so you don't get Q & Chaos etc.
