Planets worth stealing...

I'm interested in what stats would be worth stealing off an active player outside of war on above-average planets or larger...

Covert:
Attack:
Defense:
UP:

background:
Over the years,
My planets have proven themselves to be NOT worth stealing,
unless someone is really ticked off at me or my alliance...
and I like it that way... :D


I'd like to grow my planets a little,
so I'm looking for some advice what most people consider the upper limits of planet stats to be found on inactives...

keeping my planet stats on the respectable side of crappy,
and on the crappy side of respectable... :lol:

I'd also be interested in what defenses are appropriate for such planets... :)

i think people generally care more about wether it is a double or not and its size, the smaller it is, the better it generally is as its easier to build.

All depends on what the person is looking for.....a scrap attack planet just to boost their attack during a massing.....a tiny up planet to build up from scratch.....a revenge hit.....etc.

I personally wouldn't take an attack planet off someone I wasn't at war with unless it was at least 30bil.....probably prefer it to be around 30-50bil to make it worth my while....

But like I say, there are so many variables you can never be sure.....

Any planet that will still have stats larger than one you currently own is worth taking. There is no hard cap. Everyone is looking for different stats on planets. I've seen people taking 10-20k UP planets. I've seen people wanting only tiny or small planets. It all depends on how hard up a player is for a planet.

i steal any planet bigger then my own.

but it also does depends on account building and what people want :P

im currently building with a specific design so.

I steal planets that have like high attach or UP or defense on it, Then I build it up. Like less than 30 minutes ago, I stole a huge UP Planet with a 300bil def, but it was a 150KUP planet. Now I built it up to 218K, but I know it will go down, in a few minutes after turn change.

yea, that's what I did as far as planet defenses...

as far as planets, they are a tad on the low side, but I think I'll leave them be. :)

even though most of you weren't ready to come out and say it...

you did mostly confirm what I thought about ~25 bil planets... :)

If you make an enemy out of one of the Empires, then your planets are going to be taken regardless of their defense. Even if they don't have the fleets right now, they're more than capable of getting the required level of resources together. Merlins are the only surefire method of protection.

But even then, there was some cretin who had over 200 days worth of Merlins left on his account.. but got drunk and missed his PPT the morning after. You wouldn't want to be as idiotic as whoever that person was.
