With all this going on, they have a lot of storylines to create a lot of chapters with. It's going to be a while before the battle with Sasuke and Naruto.

Personally, they can cover those in one or two chapters for each. Very easily.

The question remains - will Kakashi take over as Hokage or will he pass it to Naruto? Or will Kakashi die in battle, and pass it to Naruto? It becomes endless.

i really don't know, i can't see Naruto and Sasuke dying in a fight against each other Kishi loves Sasuke too much for tht, and the series would have to end if he did

If I remember correctly... when an Uchiha kills his brother and takes his eyes, those eyes will have perfect vision and never go bad.

Doesn't matter how blind they are, they are healed and invincible when the brother takes them.
