The Ombudsman Feedback Thread

Hello all,

This is the official feedback topic for mine and Jack's term of office.

The format is the same as the previous feedback threads which have been in this section. Essentially, it's an opportunity for mods and users alike to offer their opinions on what we're doing. How fair you think we've been, for example, or how well you think we're doing overall. Where appropriate, Jack and I will try to respond to individual points or criticisms.

All we ask is that the posts in this thread be kept as productive as possible, and that we all do our best to avoid spamming or flaming one another.

Quite honestly, I have no interest in Clarkey's opinion whatsoever. I won't be reading any of his posts in this section unless the case concerns him directly.

Sadly I feel no confidence that the Ombudsman Office will treat me fairly and neutrally in any potential issue I bring to the Ombudsman's Office.

The Ombudsman personally singled me out of others that have posted in Ombudsman threads. This is wrong and my feedback is to point this out.

Your fears are rather silly and are without merit. He doesn't have to listen to your opinion in other "cases" to treat you "fair" and "neutrally."

I mean, take for example a person whom is "intellectually challenged," you would not listen to their opinion on string theory. However, that doesn't mean you'd treat them unfairly should they come before you seeking help themselves.

What I am saying here is, that while Mordack does not plan on listening to your input on other issues. We do fully intend to treat any issues regarding you just the same as we would anybody else in your shoes.

Yes and i understand that, as i did point that out in the other thread.

However, Mordack singling me out and saying that he won't listen to my opinions on any other matter not related to me does not show a neutral attitude.

My fears are not silly and without merit, as you only have to read Mordacks comment to see how unneutral he is treating me.

If there was a case concerning you specifically, then I'd interpret it according to the forum guidelines and the evidence in front of me. That's my job, and in the past I've been forced to side with people I dislike against people I do. What I don't have to do, and what isn't part of job, is listen to you witter on in every other thread.

You said it best yourself:

So as this issue is ont directly involving me then he has no obligation to listen.

Your feedback is also ridiculous because it's hypothetical. "I think the ombudsman MIGHT not treat me fairly IF I was involved in a case." Until that actually happens, and there's some evidence of said happening, then what's the point? People can't be dismissed or reprimanded on the basis of what they might possibly maybe perhaps do in the future.

Sadly, I know that this will put me back as to how hard I have been working for ombudsman and Admin's approval, I sadly must disagree with you, Clarkey if it is one thing the man is, is a Genius in this forum, He has done more then any of us, put together, now before you Yell and ruined more aswell, I do not agree with what Clarkey has done in the past, but I know one thing, if it wasn't for him, This game would not be here today,

Now for the Ombudsman topic at hand, Here is my one and only issue with you guys, I think your great, all of you, but, if Clarkey is to be singled out, That is not fair, IMO, and this is why,

If i had brought an issue up in the ombudsman, we all know I am hot headed egotisitc and a bit of a slob when it comes to typing, Clarkey my friend here could help my case, and help me by organizing the post and putting it into better words, further more he knows the forums better so he could post Info that is relavent, To single him out, well that just ruins both sides now doesn't it?

Case is Mordack, Jack and Earendil i like you all, Hell i voted for you Mordack... Lets be fair, the past is the past, Clarkey is a ware of his mistake, can we not please... Move on and let the man Live in the forums instead of being children and Bullying him out?

Please think about it... Would you want to be hurt your whole life because of one mistake?

Fixed I think, lol SEE WAT I MEANT lol I would need help going to Ombudsman, but that is off topic, I think you guys are doing a great job, with one HUGE exception, And I do wish it would change, but alas, we are all human beings which means we truley can't go on without judging people it's impossible, just think about wat I said...

No body wants to be judged for a mistake that they had made...

Clarkster did it... and Obviously regrets it now... So let us move on... He has appologized, and got his title taken away... He has been punished... It is our jobs as human beings to accept people for there shortcomings And it sucks wat he did... but We all mess up so lets move on... and Be better then this shall we?

I wouldn't want to be, no, but at the same time I'd understand it nontheless. A couple of months ago, for example, I got kicked out of a local bar for getting too drunk and making an idiot of myself. It's not something I'm proud of. I was under a lot of stress at the time, and I was also pretty drunk. Yet I went into the shop a week ago and a couple of girls made fun of me because of it. Jokingly and affectionately, I guess, but it still wasn't something I wanted to be reminded of. I didn't instantly punch them in the face and demand they be expelled from the country because of it. I just accepted it; humiliating though it was.

I honestly think I am intelligent enough to read between everybody's lines. I'm sorry if that sounds arrogant, but I think it's true. I don't need you to write an Obama style pledge for change to make me see your point. I like to think I can see it anyway. I don't think you need Clarkey to translate it into idiot language for me to grasp whatever you're talking about. And if I can't, then just PM me and I'll do my best anyway.
