Realm Alert Bug?

Sat with realm alert set to critical for the last 2-3 days, go read a forum on some cars after giving a bunch of noobs a piece of my mind, come back... def and spies massed away, look at attack logs and it was done in the space of 2-3 mins max....

im sure crit is supposed to reduce the timing of that by a significant amount

sure... if you have the Nox set with the critical realm alert...

From the Command Center page:

Realm Alert Drains Naquadah, Increases Covert Defense, increases insurance effects;


Nox Insurance drains 10% income, limits successful attacks on you, adds delay between attacks - NOT offered during alliance war.
Both cost 3 turns to change; Nox reduces total glory by 1/turn. No glory earned.


From the guide:

Realm Alert Level
This is a measure of how alert your realm is to sabotage and covert attacks. The levels represent a 10/20/40/70% increase in your alertness level, and a corrosponding decrease in your per turn income.

Ontop of adding the stated percent to your covert score (only at the time of a covert incursion into your realm),

they give the stated percent chance to see who was spying or sabotaging your realm, even if they succeed
(whereas normally you would not know who did it).



I can say that in all my years of using Critical Realm Alert...

I don't believe I have ever caught anyone with a comparable covert action

spying my realm... always those with very small covert action.


Might want to get some reading glasses or increase the size of text in your browser...

If you have war set to them it negates both critical and nox.

You didnt use nox... Critical allows them to hit you till the meter fills up and you phase. And you can be massed before that meter fills. If you were online and repairing likely you would have phased.

nah, my bad, i was under the impression crit was the one that slowed time between attacks

should probably sleep more so i dont confuse these things haha
