well.... if you can tolerate not-so-anonymous user statistics being sent off to google if you like it or not..... then you might like the chrome OS..... I have similar reasons for why I don't use chrome browser.

Chrome is good. It's lightweight, tidy and does the job. Sadly though, there is no FTP support which lets it down.

I like Google Chrome, but It does worry me how the world is getting taken over by Google as a brand. But... I guess its because they are rich and kinda good ? :p

well if you're interested: there is an alternative to chrome, essentially chrome stripped down and rebuilt without so much of a horrid security flaw...
