A role model? Can't say I've ever had one.....people have influenced me, and I respect many players. But I've never tried to emulate anyone.....

Even though I tend to be influenced a little by people I read posts/talk with much..

I don't know if I'd call them role models per se. But there have been people who influenced me greatly.

Ingame its a hard one, Never emulated anyone as such, maybe i adopted the Nuto Vixen, Fight the big people, Fight for whats right approach, And some of that has stayed with me, but freankly, i played that way before i met her, i think she just made me realise there where more players like me and her out there. That started alot of special moments for me.

A Player i would have loved to emulate, but dont have the ability too, Is Replijake. Man that guy could kick everyones ass.

Forums = thats hard to say...semper got me into roleplaying on the forums...but i kinda have my own twist in my forum post...so not sure really.

I must have been drunk or high, or just lack of thought to every say you were my hero. A person that deletes users and forum sections because hes upset, not what I would call a hero. To think that people look up to you.

What a shame.

We can only assume that you were referring the pre-menopausal Clarkey when you said it.

Anyway, I know I mentioned Bad Wolf.. but if we're talking from a purely in-game standpoint then I also think it's worth mentioning Esker. A player whose sheer style, tenacity and rapier wit I also tried to emulate, albeit with varying degrees of success.

I've never emulated anyone, because having a Role Model isn't trying to be the in-game and forum clone of said person but learn and improve yourself by studying them.

The people that have influenced me the most and still do, in both RL and the game are two friends of mine: Semper and BMMJ13.

Ingame - Esker, who shaped my account with funds and guidance for a time. Not to mention he is the System Lord of sgw. Played the persona to a t, devious and a trickster.

Forum - Mordack, for his dry wit and always thought out posts. I have yet to find a meaningless Mordack post. And of course.. I can't help but applaud his sig.

There have been many, Flavar comes to mind - also Su had alot of effect on me. And not to mention Mujo, Svarun, Raven_ and others.

these people, along with a few others, became good friends and effected me ingame - but however, never really think I had some 1 role model from day 1
