Officer bug

I have nine officers. When I try to set myself as CO it says I already have 10 and can't have anymore.

Anything that can be done to fix this? It seemed to happen when one of my officers ascended and left me that way.

Strange. The way I used to get around this was after an officer ascended and it wouldn't let them rejoin i had to make myself my CO and dismiss myself. But from what you say it doesn't allow you to make yourself your CO?

What about dismissing an officer, then getting both of them to rejoin?

I guess i'll try that when I catch one of my officers on MSN.

Thing is I was my own officer before he ascended, I had to kick myself to let him rejoin, but now I can't set myself as CO again.

You could try setting the not allowing officers, then re-allowing, then joining?
