Lol, All I can say is this, Gay and Lesbian Marriage should be Legal, as truthfully I personally believe, and I have spoken with many people that do as well, I personally believe That all humans are in a way Bi Sexual, now Sexually or Mentally, I don't care lol, I just believe that all humans are, and I believe it is Ignorance in one self, to deny it!

In Some countrys it is legal, britain it is cannada it is another, its allowed but i ask why some people/ countries dont allow it

Some nations tend to bow to every minorities demands because they think it makes them total democracies, but don't get me started on this thing, I might be not as nice as if I talk about "homosexual marriage, yes/no" heh.
Some countries are like totally static.
And the rest (like my country) tend to analyse before allowing a minority demand whether it's possible and rational to allow it. Which explains why homosexual marriage isn't permitted due to other way available I mentionned, for those couples.
Usually, the states which fall easier to demands tend to be those who have the most risks of "abuses" (by that I mean, asking ridiculous demands, you give the hand, they ask for the arm). So I wouldn't be that proud to be in a too highly "tolerant" (or permissive, whatever word) state/country. It always bites back when you tend to be too much on the yes or on the no.

You are missing the point about this.
Every people have a feminine and masculine side. 100% masculine men can be 100% gays, and less than 50% masculine guys can be 100% straight!
It's NOT a matter of sexual attraction in this particular case you brought.

thats not up for debate they can marry, some people dont allow gay marriages why, i dont know because of there religion ? because the fact they adopt children ? or the fact they dont offer anything in return to society such as reproduction ?

I answered why I'm not in favour, without getting off topic which sadly I did on few posts coming after my first. Politics is involved according to title, thus my references to it.
It was one of reasons that I decided to follow & support national representing EPP party in my country, because most of others tend to be in favour of it, and I don't agree with why they want it to be done, and others not agreeing with it don't have same views of general things.
There's no political party in France having homophobic stances anyway, which you can get easily in cough cough moon quarter&star countries cough cough if you see what I mean.

EPP= European People Parties, right winged conservatives pro european partis. Not to be confused with far right parties. For those not used to European politics.

Please try to find where I took an homophobic stance by inducing that homosexual relationships would be forbidden?

Gay marriage= not agreeing to be possible
Gay "union" (pact I mentionned several times, which has some restrictions, and mostly used by straight couples excluding "aparthied" ghost *sigh* repeating myself)= agreeing to be possible
Gay relationships (without any "official" union)= agreeing to be possible

Because if this is permitted, then some people would ask to be able to marry their cousin, then we would get back into nephew/uncle/aunt mariages...I mean by that, some people might say "if they can, why couldn't we?" and then you got more&more demands to extend mariages...
Because afterall, if you do one step, then you can do other steps..and thus have to be careful (there you go Thriller for analysing & acting carefully).
It's like for non citizens (foreigners without papers) being able to vote for local elections, if you enable them this, then they will ask for more (national and regional elections right to vote). And then citizenship will have lost its specificity and identity. Same for mariage.

Why is it SUCH a problem anyway that homosexual people couldn't practice mariage [if we consider yes to unions/pacts]?
It's just to provoke and cause controversy!

Yah, you don't quite have the harsh virtiolic homophobia of some. But your soft, limp wristed, "someone please think of the children" kind, is just what i would expect from a Frenchmen. No matter how you want to rationalize it to yourself and try to make yourself out to be the good guy, its still blatantly bigoted discrimination.

Not all frenchmen are like me at all, many are in favour of "let's permit everything because we are against all forms of discriminations and thus will answer positively to any minorities' demands".
In the name of tolerance and minorities sensibilities, we will allow anything they ask, no matter if it's going against our nation/group of nations traditions/roots or its republic bases.
In the end you got special hours for access to swimming pool for a certain religion (at their demand I might add!) in some cities for example, because we don't want oh no don't want to discriminate them so we accept their requests even if those requests might appear as "discriminative".
When you accept demands for some minorities of specific stuff, then all will ask for something and if you accept some requests and refuse some others, oh bad bad bad discriminations alert!

"Discriminating" is baaaad! Let's enable everything minorities ask to appear as the most tolerant bunch. D'oh d'oh d'oh.
Such words are totally over used just like "racism" word is.


Now that reminds me of those far left wing students who accused me to be a bad bad racist fascist and whatever they can think of as I was ohhh so shocking to them because I didn't want to accept any demands made by minorities and didn't have a head in the sand kind of view regarding several subjects.
I usually laugh inside (and outside sometimes) of me when I face such hillarious accusations towards me.
