I suppose the "likes of you" as you define me, is composed from the ones agreeing with current state of things like me (civil union only), to the ones in favour of killing all homosexuals in world (whoever they are)...in other words, all those who don't agree with you, nomatter whether they are in favour of extermination, or, keeping the current system like I think (civil union). (I don't have a word in mind to describe this, so I will just use this smiley: )

The reality of "supertolerance-champions" being totally UNtolerant to ANY disagreeing level to their stance, cannot be more obvious than here.

Marriage is legally defined as union between a man and a woman.
I see no reason to change the law for the minority. It is a fair law.

Actually marriage is a religious definition always was and always has been in which the laws are structured by opinion and politics and however you want it to be this is an old law instituted by church law. Laws change, but religions don't thus it is actually prejudice because it segments people from marriage from birth because they are born this way thus would be illegal.

Religion, has a big part in politics, because it is a belief.

Most religions reconise being homosexual is 'wrong'. And reject the idea of homosexual marriages.

Atheism;
Buddahism;

Judaism;

mm happens how is it illegal when many murders have acquittals if that don't legalize it what more proof do you want law is about how you term it.

eg stealing look at the stock market, banking, tax and interest rates its legalized stealing its just how you term it.

As I have always said why cant there be a gay word for marriage therefore they get the rights and marriage definition can be locked into its belief structure.

There main problem with marriage is that it entitles certain rights to the law that's the problem they become marginalized and restricted...either way Mister Sandman seeing through another perspective may give you a different opinion and remember in the bible its says "thou shalt not judge". I prefer to learn and understand rather than keep to the same argument.

we had this convo before and nothing was resolved then and nothing will be resolved now because we all have differing opinions, some base those on modern ethical standing, meaning, we are in the modern world and should let people be what they want to be.
while others (including myself) see homosexuality as being indecent based on more traditional values...

given the state of the modern world and peoples modern ethical standing (or lack of any ethical standing as is evident of peoples lack of respect in these times we live), i say there is NOTHING good about homosexuality and it should be outlawed. anyone found to be engaging in homosexual behaviour should be castrated and imprisoned...would there be any homosexuals left after a few are caught? i would think the % would drop over night!

I know they aren't "compatible", but well it doesn't mean we should get rid of them...they are humans who can be useful to society progress like other people can, afterall.
I know it's society set up for heteros in most cases, but it doesn't mean we should throw away different people from anything we offer to hetero people. Yes, some things like marriage should remain for heteros, but most things should be available for homos because there's no real reasons to ban them access to those (voting, high status in firms, not seperated schools,...)

You misinterpret, i was just giving an example of a law, which, wouldn't change in the future or near future or atleast any rational country would not legalise murder.

The needs of many outweigh the few, a few want murder legalised.

I take it unless its religion approved you wont accept it and science came up with the notice yes nature vs nurture are a combined affect and you forgot the original premise that was assessed that gay was a mental illness and as I have stated you have not definable proof that it is not genetic and claiming its an abomination is a judgment you are claiming superiority no less than KMA but with less severity. This is the very reason why they seek marriage, validation in the courts for funeral rights ect, ect.
