anyways, the name of the movie, for those of you that dont really understand russian (like us), the movie is also known as "in the name of the king: A Dungeon Siege Tale"

its a quite good movie that we'd not even known existed till yesterday... Based on a decent game we've not played ourselves, but seen played a few times... and unlike some game adaptions, it is not needed to know the story of the game (which we dont)

anyways, its well worth watching... doesnt suffer from the any severe adaption decay, at least we think so... it aint a perfect movie, but still good enough...

too many adaptation movies give a sense of everything being rushed to fit a long story into a short movie, but this one did not have such a pace...

I never said he was the reason I haven't seen it. I saw it when it came out. I didn't like it.

Caught some of it on Sci Fi channel, or however they spell these days.. Thought it was a bit cheesy, lots of bits and pieces of other fantasy/epics. That and I enjoy Statham far more in a Transporter/Crank role, not so much as a ninja farmer. I did however, enjoy John Ryes Davies.

we found that the behavior of those people in those vines was a bit odd... just didnt fully match up...
but we did like how some of those "krug" sat down in the catapults and were lit on fire... that part got us chuckling a bit...
