I don't doubt people could let others in. Especially if the NAP was removed. But that doesn't stop possible complete domination by a party

Oh I admit that in all likelihood some of the houses will be most hotly contended – as they should be. But some of the others may be more open to having a more gentle agreement such that they can both remain in the house. If I was one of the smaller alliances and I wanted to be in XYX house then of course I would be saying to the ruler of XYZ house, lemme in lemme in, I promise I won’t be bad! But what I’m suggesting is that some of them may come to some informal arrangements with or without the enforced NAP.

Well realistically speaking, a group will go out to control a house and its natural enemy. That way they`ll get the bonus and its counterweight, to be "pure profit" on the rest of the server. Park your main alliances in faith & your trainers in science. Congrats, 10% AB jump on everyone else & freebies + only "antidote" for the newbies, and there is nothing anyone else can do about it heh. If they try, they get a portion of blessings.



Now if these houses have to be exclusive and limited in number... why not introduce an "empire" system where multiple alliances can gather under one banner paralel to the house system.

Gives you another way to spend alliance banks or alternativly, you can keep them without bonuses, just an empire tag (much like an alliance tag).

The point is, you can then make it so that an empire can only control one house at a time.
Sure its still circumventable, instead of a coalition of 8 alliances seperated into 2 houses you`ll have a coalition of 2 empires or something, but it would make it sligtly more challenging + it would atleast throw a bone to the people that are bound to loose out on a house spot.

Thoe my 1st choice would still be no forced naps & no kick button. That`ll really turn this server into ascended 2 years ago ish type segregation affair lol.

well, if the houses update is going to main, the one about alliance leaders leaving a house while in control and yet still being the rulers would be advisable
and as far as i know, the officer issue isnt a problem in main

Apologies if this has already been brought up, but I really couldn't be bothered reading 29 pages to check lol

House of Faith - add 10% AB
House of Science Negates ALL AB

House of Science in this equation is always the loser, as it has to negate your own AB, so assuming it's ever populated by people that have ascended they are actually causing harm to their own stats to try and defend against Faith (in particular)

Why not have it so that Science negates x% of Enemy AB? this in my mind then provides a real choice and is a direct confrontation to Faith

If Faith adds 10% AB, and science drops let's say 10% of enemy AB...well it means 10-10=0% things will be same as if no houses were there when those two confront lol.
