If Faith adds 10% AB, and science drops let's say 10% of enemy AB...well it means 10-10=0% things will be same as if no houses were there when those two confront lol.

I think I'd put the emphasis on defence and give 15% to Science.

So Faith still gets a big gain on all the others but loses out slightly on Science

Lets see... I have 1000 points. add 10%, i get 1100 points. Minus 10%, i have 990 points. And there for -10 = 0. Good job.

House of Science Negates ALL AB

House of Science in this equation is always the loser, as it has to negate your own AB, so assuming it's ever populated by people that have ascended they are actually causing harm to their own stats to try and defend against Faith (in particular)

Why not have it so that Science negates x% of Enemy AB? this in my mind then provides a real choice and is a direct confrontation to Faith[/spoiler]

No, it means that both have no blessing. So it's power vs power, instead of more blessing vs blessing.

Sorry, seemed you were saying that Science was the loose cause they were the only ones loosing the blessing.

But i don't think it is needed. Negating blessing mean you MUST have 30% of their defence power in attack to damage. Rather then only 15%, when blessing hits you, and not the opponent.

but my point was, all the other houses give without taking away...they are all bonuses without a consequence

Science just effectively takes everyone back to an unascended being (for that house and people attacking it) so it equally effects both those attacking and those in it....offers no extra single bonus

Hmm, i do see your point there. Where as what you said with relation to JUST lowering the enemies chance of blessing give them the edge.

Would be interesting. Seeing like a PoTAG going against a UnKnown whom both get the SAME blessing chance

If Faith is left at 10% extra AB
maybe Science at 15% extra chance of negating enemy AB

then the emphasis is on the defence

but the numbers can be worked out by people more in the know

I can agree with 15%. Then you decide, do you want to be able to get +10% against everyone else, and -5% against Science, or do you join science, and give EVERYONE a -15% change to AB against you.

Well working on the basis that admin was/is going to give Faith 10% extra AB against everyone

No, i like -15%. Reason being, Faith ALSO get +10% power when blessed also.

Minumum Turns to Use on Attack/Raid
The minimum attack turns to use is increased from 1, to 3. No slapfights here!

You could just make 1AT attacks do no degradation damage on only the defenders weapons... thus allowing defenses to last longer if someone doesn't wise up and use more ATs.

1AT hits are still useful for testing blind hit raids.

I'd also like to see a list of updates that Admin was intending on pushing out in the first wave. This way perhaps we can discuss whether or not these are good updates and perhaps postpone them until a better compromise is agreed upon.

Yes I did a mistake and forgot about % rules and forgot the x1,1 =/= x0,9 thing, get over it.
Next time you do a mistake and I see it, expect me to highlight it the same way..

if you base it on the initial values, then it's 100 each time.

I know that Admin Jason isn't gonna change his mind, but I'm still opposed.
