Greetings all

ive not been around for the last 4 years or so, so dont know whats happened in the previous waves.
but as i see it, if an alliance want to get together and feed one or two of thier members then thats ok, it just means the other alliances will have to use equal teamwork to have any chance of not getting battered.

it shows a dedication to the alliance and friends that people are prepared to give up thier stuff for the greater good.
and ensures those that think this way will get an advantage over those that play alone. seems fair to me tbh. different styles maybe but not unfair.

normally i would not have had any boost at the start but i had £200 burning a hole in my paypal pocket so thought id support the site with a uss this wave as ive been enjoying all the gatewars immensly since my return. but if i knew enough people at the start of the wave maybe i would be feeding too, who knows?

from what ive read this is a problem that been going on for a while and maybe it will never go away? maybe people should just adapt to these new tactics and find ways to counter them

Firstly, you know my stance on feeding. You and i have chatted privately regarding this issue. Having to repeat myself here again is indeed tiresome.

Here are the options to combat this problem.
1. Get the admin to monitor and ban everyone that feeds or get fed.
- obviously he is not going to do this.

2. Put procedures in place to try slow the feeding down (see other posts where counter measure were suggested)
- not gonna happen this wave.

3. Go in to VAC mode as a sign of protest
- not gonna make any impact whatsoever

4. Spend $
- only an idiot will invest $ in a game that's going nowhere. I have spent $ on Main but there is no way i will spend it here when there is no decent support for Quantum.

5. Take on these feeders
- pray tell, with what??? Where am i going to find the Naq to get in to a decent position to make any impact whatsoever against players who's been fed huge amounts of Naq from the start? I need AT to farm to get Naq to build my account for a strike. I am not even going to go in to the sabbing i will get because i did not have the Naq to push those Covert lvls to protect myself...never mind finding the Naq to push Techs, UU etc.

6. Feed your alliance members
- only way to cause any sort of damage would be to help get an alliance member on a similar lvl to the guys being fed so they can be taken down.

You call me a hypocrite. Do you seriously think I want to sit and hand over my Naq for the next 2-3 months while I could have spend it on my own account? Hell, I could have taken the time to build my account on Main which I have neglected since I started playing Quantum 5 era's ago. If this is what it takes to bring down these feeders, so be it. You might not agree with how we are trying to combat this problem but that is how we decided to do it. At least we are trying. Unlike you, we do not sit on our high horse judging those that are actively doing something. I did not see you posting against these feeders when this issue started. Yet you were quick to jump on Neu for the way they are handling this. Your lack of speaking out against those being fed says it all.

These might be your friends we are speaking about. I can respect your loyalty towards them. But then best you keep your comments and criticism to yourself if you are unwilling or unable to be fair in your judgment.

Shouldn't the Global Attack logs keep attacks from the last 10 days? Can't find anything from the 21st and back.

Take the initial PPT into account, and the fact that this wave is only 9 days old.. it being the 26th now, wave starting the 17th, hits could be from the 19th on, maybe the GAlogs weren't activated the 19th, but the 21st?

Those attacks i posted were copied from the GAlogs back then. Maybe the tables in the database got dropped & recreated on the 21st by accident or something hence all data lost?

I Think A Feature Should Be Implemented Like The Ascended Server, Where If You have A Really Strong Account You can Only Attack Other Users Around The Same Overall Power As Yourselves Not Weaker Ones......Players Wouldn't Be Able To Get Fed So Easily Then If They Couldn't Attack The Feeder Accounts Created To Do So, HA! Have A Bit Of That! They Would Have To Fight Each Other For Naq, They Wouldn't Have Any Other Choice
I'm Gonna Be Sticking To My Guns For This Wave, Feeding Myself And Wiping My Own Ass, So What If I Come Rank 5 Or 1055 At Least I Can Say I Didn't Need Help Or Naq Handout's And The Rank I Finish In Will Be A Genuine One, Meh, The Average Player Who Plays The Game Correctly Has No Chance Of Keeping Up With Fed Accounts So When It Comes The End Of The Era I'll Be Looking At The Top Players And Whoever Comes The Highest Rank Without Being Spoon Fed Will Be Ranked 1st In My Opinion, Fat Fed Super Accounts Don't Count

What about the new person to the game, that does not have a group of friends. Who does not stand a chance at being fed...but gets his ass handed to him on a regular basis by those being fed he cant safe guard his Naq he can't compete covert wise...Lets face it in my opinion for the advancement of the game and the growth of the game with new players etc..Feeding has to be dealt with. I don't understand why so many people can not grasp that notion. Go back to different eras I think at one point all the top players have been fed at one point or another.....Is it really fair to the new guy who tries playing the game and cant make any headway.... It is a defeatist position to take ..hiding behind Feeding is a strategy...Congratulating someone on winning an era for being fed trillions more Naq then possible to farm.....While the new guy is continually farmed or sabbed with no hope of defending himself because he does not have 3-4 lackeys giving him NAQ.... Makes the game the challenge kinda of pointless...the only thing you are proving is your friends that are feeding you have...... I will remain polite on a public forum... My 2 cents

So now the person who started all this has the largest raw UP because; guess what? he got fed.

Well Chris here's one for ya: There is no way to counter the fed accounts.
Massings dont hurt the techs an all that jazz they spend the big fed amounts on, so you simply cannot hurt them...only scratch them...

I dont see no difference between asking someone else to create an account, farm till 0 turns n feed all the gathered naq to you person.
Other then creating Another account yourself and farm tilll 0 turns n feed all the gathered naq to your main account.

Being fed aint a tactic, its just abusing the absence of an activly playing/monitoring admin/moderator with ban-button.

Tho i dont see the situations change... any soon...

If all is fair then why have a set standard of rules to play buy we should be able to win any which way we can...including having more then one account...because realistically another account is just another way of feeding so why not....the list can go on and on, you will arguing your point I will arguing mine I was happy enough to make it into the top 10 and top 5 with out being fed...then you have the ego monkeys that have to just be the best at all costs ...Look how great my account is....Why else jump out of what the rest of the community says is a norm..... no feeding ..it distracts from the game play...the strategy...

But I was just left disappointed...I thought the long time players would be more supportive of a non feeding game but I guess I was wrong This will be my last era anyway so I will feed Whoever as much as I can..and then pat myself on the back when we have fed him so much he can finish first if he/she choses to..

The problem will be dealt with. Fed accounts are Great farms!, and aslong as 5 people or more care, and wish to mass, then, the fed account will be screwed. Now.... if the fed account had 10 people feeding per week or 20... it's a very large deal, but where it's 1-2 people, so he's basicly playing 3 accounts vs my 1. I still like my odds. Aslong as the feed person is leading in UP and techs, IE paying their " extra 50%" it's not a real game breaker. Annoying yes, are they going to be massed yes. But all it takes is someone being willing and able to sit on someone accounts for 1 weeks to 3 weeks so that they don't keep their income and aren't really making units as they are being killed off too quickly to serious harm their chances of placing. NOW THIS APPLIES TO SMALL TIME FEEDERS! If for example someone got 20-30 accounts to go farming with, or 400-500 accounts, when they just traded turns for naq. Then your looking at what may be a killer, as someone dumps 10x the naq into mothership slots, and spy levels. They are the only places where you can spend naq while infront without decreasing the costs for the rest of the players.

not true... i took UP from 13k to 16k, then V took it to 19k and now i pushed it to 21k.
