I never really understood this, But say I have an officer, and Im giving him 30% of my income, How much % of his untrained guys per day am I getting in return? also, does he lose untrained when I recive them?

I believe that you get about 15% of his UP, but I know he doesn't lose any of them.

If you give 30 % to your officers, you get 15% bonus from them
If you give 20 % to your officers, you get 10% bonus from them
If you give 10 % to your officers, you get 5% bonus from them

Jix is correct you recieve half of the percent you give him.
And as ZS said, The officer doesn't lose any UU, but you do lose naq.
Further, you recieve the percentage off the 'total' UP of your officers.
