hahaha

nice one!

I'm pretty sure that this is going to make the world cup alot more interesting. most of the games have had unnexpected results.

And i still can't figure out why green is your keeper?
I can name a few english ones better than him off the top of my head.

I've been trying to read French lately, I struggled with this one and Google translate only made it more confusing when in English.

Re: 2010 World Cup

I agree with what Terry Paine said, "Pathetic"

But then Gerrard says the team is behind Green, perhaps if they started that way it would've stayed 1-0

Re: 2010 World Cup

Im not as positive about that performance as most.

Green should never have started, and thats taking the mistake out of the equation. Hes our 3rd best keeper, but James/Hart have to be ahead of him in the pecking order.

Jozy Altidore showed us how badly we'll miss rios pace, carragher & King looked really succeptible to his pace, carragher has the turning speed of a luxury liner.

Lampard was too deep, Heskey was decent holding the ball up & winning the ball in the air but his techical ability is too limited to really bring people into play around him.

Rooney was so isolated, Tbh if i was capello id have the system built around him & not the lamps/gerrard partnership. Without him being in the game, or having to drop deep we just look blunted up top.

To be honest, it wasnt a terrible result we should do algeria & Slovenia but i fear, on that performance, any decent side will turn us over.

Re: 2010 World Cup

well, looking at the game thats on atm, England have little to worry about...although, saying that Slovenia and Algeria are no easy teams. If England beat them, it won't be by much, they've very tight teams :p

Also, i regret not putting money on slovenia. bah!

Re: 2010 World Cup

they both play containment football, and unless we unlock some creativity we could struggle to break them down.

Re: 2010 World Cup

if you get a bit of pace down the wing against algeria they could be in trouble, so johnson and Defoe should get on, and as much as i hate the chap, Walcott would've been a nice impact sub for england.

Also, looking at the season gone by, hart should be your number 1.

Re: 2010 World Cup

I want serbia to win but will be happy with a good, flowing game of football. few goals would be nice as well.

Similarly, I believe that people in general are inherently flawed. Deep down, we are programmed to hurt one another; either physically or emotionally. People are naturally selfish and greedy; governed more by bestial urges than common sense or ethics. Society is a terrible thing, too. The more supposedly civilized we become, the more immorality and decadence become the main staple of our daily diet.
