Giza power plant theory.

anyone familiar with this?

i've only just come across this theory and from the little i've read so far, it makes allot of sense...thats not to say i believe it, but it does make sense ;)
Leading Ukraine physicist endorses The Giza Power Plant!

In recent months we have discovered that pyramid research is alive and well in Russia and the Ukraine. Ukraine scientists have made some remarkable discoveries in their research. After reading a research article submitted to the Giza Pyramids Research Association by Dr. Volodymyr Krasnoholovets, I sent him a copy of The Giza Power Plant for review. I was delighted to receive this email today.

****************

Dear Christopher,

I already finished to read your dissertation.I take of my hat before you. Should I send it to you by the mail?I just entered the amazon.com and put the following comments to your book:

SUMMARY
It can help our modern progressive science to find ground

ABSTRACT
The book keeps pace with my recent findings in the area of fundamentalphysics: the oriented pyramid is a resonator of the Earth inerton waves, that is, the aether wind, which was elusive from scientists in the 19thand the beginning of 20th centuries. When Einstein proposed his veryformal general relativity all studies, which touched the aetherproblems, were abandoned. However, today the inerton field is already revealed. The field influences objects in the same way as ultrasound. That is why I absolutely support Chris Dunn's theory: indeed, thePyramid was constructed as a power plant that transduced the Earthvibrating energy into the electromagnetic energy. That is why the bookis highly recommended to all thinking scientists, especially, physicists.
THE GIZA POWER PLANT: TECHNOLOGIES OF ANCIENT EGYPT was published in August 1998. Since then I have been overwhelmed by the response to the power plant theory. The reviews have been nothing short of incredible! I have received letters and emails from all over the world that support the argument that high levels of technology existed in prehistory on this planet and that the Great Pyramid represents the pinnacle of that technology.
Re: Giza power plant theory.

Like so many theories, it fails to address the 'why'.
Why would Egyptians want to build a power plant?
What possible use would they have for electricity?

I agree that may not be as spectacular as flooding the Queen's Chamber in hydroxide.. but without a why, without reason, the theory is meaningless. Even if found to be valid.

You know.. we created electricity in chem class at school. We used two vases to achieve electricity in the same manner as this theory suggests Giza would.

The point is, that if we could create that effect in any of two vessels connected with wiring, then of course the Pyramid could function as a power plant. Any two vessels filled with the appropriate materials connected with any conductive wiring will produce electricity.
The Pentagon could be used. The Tower Bridge could be used. Basilica San Pietro could be used. Iceland could be used.

Give me a "why", and I will have less issues with agreeing with you and your cited scientists. ;)
Why would the Egyptians want electricity?

Re: Giza power plant theory.

i dont want you to agree with me or anyone else for that matter...thats the last thing i want.

this topic is about exploring the possibility that it could have been a power plant, OR something else entirely for 1 simple reason...

Egyptologists have assumed-and will not budge from the theory that the pyramids on the Giza plateau where nothing more than burial cites for dead kins, this theory is absolutely ridiculous on every single level. 1 reason i can think of right of the bat, is why advertise?! i mean, look at Giza, the only thing that's visible from a distance is the the 3 pyramids :?

anyways, engineers, scientists, experts of all kinds and enthusiasts have found allot of evidence to suggest that machining and engineering was employed in Egypt...its possible the energy was used to power the machines.

What machines? Its interesting that most people will admit that the pyramids are anything BUT we have written in our history books... Why is that? :?

I don't see a "why" there, beyond the obvious "because others say it's something else". :?

because the modern history books don't corroborate the recorded history of any of the ancient civilisations.

there are ancient accounts that a king by the name of Saurid (Enoch) was instructed by God to build a building which was strong enough to withstand the coming devastation and to store within this indestructible building the sum total of mans knowledge and history, the building was also said by ancient accounts to have been constructed in just 7 years as opposed to egypologists guesstimates of 22 years using brute force and a ramp that stretched 2 miles which would have had a larger volume than the pyramid itself.

now, i'm not saying that account is any more correct than the power plant theory, but let me ask you...have any body's of dead Pharaohs been found in ANY pyramid in Egypt?
let me also ask you again...why advertise?

well, let me ask you...why would they invent the Baghdad battery? i don't see any wires or anything it could have powered, and yet, its there, and all experts agree thats what it is, a battery.

yea, it's true.
i've a read an interesting book that explained all about it. it's to do with the general theory of reletivity and quantom phisics and whatnot.
the book is "pyramids", by who was it, oh yea, one Terry Pratchett.

Thanks to capitalism, when your doctor tells you you require a kidney transplant to survive, you no longer can be certain if you actually need a kidney transplant or your doctor simply needs a new speedboat. Nice.

Re: Giza power plant theory.

it beggars belief, it really does...electricity in the ancient world...yeah right! all they were was savages!

oh wait, we cant duplicate what they did, from the largest buildings they made to the smallest vases they made...but we are smart yeah guys?! we are so smart with our F1 cars, space shuttles hydrogen bombs, dvd's, hd tv's and internet we cant hollow out a diorite vase like the Egyptians did, we cant make a calender as accurate as the mayans, and we cant cut granite with such precision that the edges are sharp as a razor...but we can laugh at the ancients because even though they did things we cant do today, we can reassure ourselves because we are smart and we have TV...yeah right...do me a favour!

i dont mean to be rude...actually, i do mean to be rude! your arrogance is staggering to say the least...

i never said this was factual, hell, i have trouble getting my head round the idea they may have had the ability to create electricity on a par with our modern industry...but i also have trouble getting my head round the fact that the ancients also had an understanding of aerodynamics.

i dont know why you guys even bother to post when you have such arrogantly closed minds?!?!

Re: Giza power plant theory.

teh giza pyramid have enough stones to build x7 the empire state building , many times it was said egyptians didnt built them, as for their records the pyramid were built in around 20 years , which technically was impossible.

recently i saw a video of a researcher regarding tis pyramid, there was a lil detail about this great buildings: God spoke to Noe and lead him to build the ark, he also whispered to solomon for the mighty tower or city whatever , and the constructon of Giza pyramid was lead by a stranger connected to philistines tribes, dont remember well the detail but if any want the video just let me know

theres always a divine breath influencing the man to build smth larger , the giza pyramid is a mystery , its not a chamber but many do search for what they want and provide different controversial assumptions.

Re: Giza power plant theory.

lol, I was merely trying to be comical about the topic :)

If indeed the pyramyds could be generators of some kind, It would be quite interesting to know what for. Many theories then start popping up, especially when reading those articles, WHAT, in the ancient world, could HONESTLY require this.

We all know it was not for toasters and kettles, quite obvious... But what?

I dont even want to start speculating further, If I do I might just theorise that it was to manipulate the weather in the desert and cause the Nile to do things etc...

Also, this being a gatewars board, coming from what used to be stargatewars, I think my origenal theory carries quite some weight :P Even if it is just for the lolz ;)

Re: Giza power plant theory.

I do believe pyramids were built by Egyptians (ordered by them at least, being the most advanced empire back then in the region), and maybe those had religious meaning? Who knows, just like the american pyramids had religious meanings...

As for savages, actually the ones considered as savages are most likely "everything else" in different times. During Egyptian dynasties, others were considered as barbarians, savages, unadvanced etc...not necessarly by us having a slighty less subjective view than the "top ones" had back then.
After all, we learn Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, then Rome in school for important ancient history. Now, I'm not saying they were necessarly the best of the best, but it's those who get the most audience in schools.
