Fact is that it widens the gap between $ and normal players, you can't argue that, Sarevok ;)

TL like many other alliances had a short term program to improve several ships and this is unlikely to repeated again.

The naq I received (and gave) represents a small percentage of the overall cost to build my ship over many years.

Top fleets can not take defences now now let alone after these updates so this change will result in many planets becoming untakeable (not just a few).

This will provide a significant advantage to players at the top of the game and continue to widen the gap between the "Haves" and the "Have Nots".

Given that players can 100% protect all planets on PPT and merlin, making planets even harder to take now will remove valuable planets from the battle field and result in some players becoming untouchable in game.

Its a crying shame to destroy such a fun feature of the game simply because a handful of players complained they lost a valuable planet because they forgot to PPT or merlin.

Fact is, any update that is done, will give an advantage to anyone that is willing to spend. Unless you can think of one that wouldn't give an advantage, I'd like to hear it

Here's a thought - how about adjusting the bonuses automatically - for each 5 mil planet defenses you destroy you need 1% fleet power less to successfully attack a planet (being that your pilots are more experienced and all that poo), so if you destroyed 10 million planet defenses you don't need 17,5% of natural defense (after the new updates) to attack a planet but only 15,5%, while for each 2 million fleets you destroy someone who wants to take your planet has to have 1% more fleet power (as you are experienced in fighting against fleets), so if you destroyed 2 million fleets and someone wanted to conquer your planet - s/he'd need 18,5% of natural defense power opposed to 17,5%.

This is adjusted through pure skill, player vs player, not how much cash you invested, so THIS gives EVERYONE and NOONE a bigger advantage than they already have.

Ok. Buy 100T naq, and get someone to waste fleets on your planets. Done. 4m fleets gone, meaning the person defending against fleets is now at 19.5%, instead of 17.5%, and ANYONE trying to take them on doesn't know this. Unless they've taken out 20m planet defences to counter this.

Ok. Buy the game off Jason and give yourself unlimited naq, stats and everything ](*,)
Of course player$ will achieve everything a lot more easily, the difference is that now those of us that mass planets and don't use $ could counter them.

Sarevok you probably are not one of the people who mass planets, otherwise you would have known how hard it is to mass a well defended planet as it is, especially due to platforms too, and these updates just make it 2-3 times harder...

Defenses have been made cheaper so yes, the only logical thing to do would now be to make fleets more powerful or remove the updates to making defs cheaper ;)
