Like I said before...
Spending 50t on a def planet would get you 100b(numbers are made up but the points the same) before.
Spending 50t on an atk planet would get you 133b before.
It was adjusted so that the 50t you spent on your def planet now gave you 133b just like atk planets.

There was no "free" upgrade, the people spent the 50t, they just got the same amount now that they would have had if they had spent the 50t in an atk planet.
And after the adjustment it all uses the atk planet formula so if they spent another 50t on a different def planet now they'd get the 133b just like if they'd put it into an atk planet.

Yes I know the reasons, I just didn't know whether it was the same formula in use as for attack planets now or the same formula as before and all def planets got boosted only once (so the 1,33x multiplier didn't stay in the formula but was just here to balance things out on one occasion :) )

I'm getting 120b ME for the 600m UU I raided, but I'm only getting 6b ME for the 3.1T naq I've stolen?

Trust me when I say that farming 1Q actual ( not doubled stat from old ME )naq is significantly more difficult to do than raiding 500m UU. I don't know what was wrong with the old values for those, but they were at least closer in value.

This is something that would be best to correct now before anyone gains any new ME...

Surveys:
Not getting naq soon enough
No surveys available in my area/more in other peoples

Nox/realm alert:
Names changed from high, higher, ...
People both wanting and not wanting nox to be removed

Cosmetics/Convenience:
Thank you's for various changes ranging from pm sending box to time stamps
Want all race ranks shown
Various rank layers in an alliance able to perform different functions that only 1st and 2nd ic can do now

Lonewolf Bonus:
Still says bonus to atk and def near the create an alliance ?button? (viewtopic.php?f=20&t=169525)

War Exp. Values:
People think the naq stolen ME is too low given the difficulty/time involved

Alliance Bank:
Are bank increases permanent (you've already said yes)
Can we get a way to buy multiples of the bonuses (such as the UP increase box)
Some think there should be a limit on bank increases
What "gifts" have/should have limits (you've said ppt is 12h/week, haven't stated any limits on the others)

Planets & Fleets:
Def planet prices changed to be 1/2 the cost of atk planets
30 day rule before stealing planets reviewed incase new accounts aren't able to take back planets that are stolen from them

Alliance Houses:
When does a player joining an alliance already in a house 5 days start getting the alliance bonus

Weapons:
People objecting to weapons being doubled and effectively making MS's and planets half as useful

Sab/Spy/Covert Capacity:
People confused and set straight about the covert reduction

I just logged in to notice that my UP has dropped again.

I had an (expected) initial UP drop after the update was released.
I increased my raw to compensate.
I logged in and now my UP had dropped again.

Whats up with this?

You know most of the updates are decent from a new player stand point (although 30days to steal planets really slows down the accumulation of decent planets from inactive players...now it would just be random whatever you find).

However, concerning the doing surveys for NAQ. A place besides the bank needs to be set up. I did some surveys last night and the naq hadn't appeared by turn change (which wasn't a big deal to me). So I went to bed and didn't have time to log on this morning as I had work. So I come home and I see that the naq has arrived, however...its about 700bil less than it should have been according to the messages in my inbox. So, I'm looking at my alpha site and notice that I'm losing about 20bil per turn because my bank isn't big enough to hold everything (understandable precaution against over-inflating a bank and then untraining miners) however as new player there is no way I could get a bank large enough to hold 1.6tril, and being in perg I couldn't go on PPT (in the future when doing surveys). So basically I guess I'm saying that there should be a receive naq in waiting option when survey naq comes in because us new players who do a survey for a naq boost...will most likely lose that naq unless we sit religiously by the comp until the naq shows...which could take who knows how long.

with increased def across the board, we 'tuned down' a few of the updates so it was not too overpowered in favor of (specifically planet) def...
15 is more than 12 and 5 is less than all, so its still in favor of def, just not as much as it could (will?) have been....

still need to set the 'pulsecheck date'...to look at all the balance etc issues and if they're working/fair/good....
