there's the mothership tech.. does that still stand after you ascend? If not is it worth buying it if you plan to further ascend? thx

All techs are wiped away with ascension, this includes the mothership techs. In my opinion no, it is not worth purchasing if you're power ascending. If you're going slow however, the first few might be worth it.. if your ms gets a significant boost.

Id say buy up to level 6 or 7 then when your about to ascend fully build your mothership.

Then ascend then keep doing that and you will get a powerful MS every ascension.

I'd say it's not worth it, not going all the way to lvl 10 anyway.

When you ascend you lose all MS techs. However, let's say you have lvl 10 and you've filled that 30% extra that you get, then when you ascend and lose the techs you still keep those 30% extra weapons and shields. However, if you don't re-buy all the tech lvls then if your MS gets damaged and you lose those 30% extra weps and shields then you can't buy them back until you re-buy the lvls.
