I was there for a month, so I walked around many of the lakes. Windermere, Grasmere, Elterwater, Thirlmere, and Derwent were the lakes I walked around, and then I did a lot of walking up to visit several tarns. I was ill the day some of my friends went up Helvellyn. :( I had to view it from all of the pictures they took (most of which being nothing more than fog/clouds :lol: ). But I made up for it by hiking from Chapel Stile to Hard Knott for lunch the next day, then walked the rest of the way to Ravenglass before taking a train up to Keswick and walking back to Chapel Stile. It was a great day! :-)
