Vacationing and alliance PPTs
If the alliance buys a PPT do you still have to wait the 24hrs to go on vac mode?

Yes you do.
This might be of interest:-
Yet again we have had incidences where the new Alliance PPTs as purchased by Alliance leaders have screwed up people`s vacs.
Awarding an Alliance PPT can prevent you going to vac (u need to be clear of outgoing attacks and ppt for 24 hours prior to being able to set vacmode).
It can also prevent you from coming off vac.
And even more worryingly if you are on vac a bug could suddenly cut short your vac and drop you back into main.
SO JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CARFULLY PLAN VACS, LET YOUR ALLIANCE LEADER KNOW AND DROP YOUR ALLIANCE TAG AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR TO GOING TO VACMODE SO YOUR PLANS ARE NOT INADVERTANTLY SCREWED UP BY ALLIANCE PPTS!
