Mothership Abuse!?

There are several players out there who have a massive mothership and nearly nothing else (maybe covert). they make sure to haev nearly no deff.
Now if they have a rpoblem with you they often wont be able to damage your defense weapons but they can shoot your mothership apart and wont loose more than 20-30 soldiers.

they mass your mothership and you cant protect against that. for me that is a clear abuse i thought a mothership should be only able do double your strike.

For me the soltution is clear a mothership shouldnot be able to do more damage than the soldiers accompaning it.

IF others have writtem the same i have not found it.
And before it is postet in the suggestions forum i wantet to hear other thoughts on it.

yes but it affekts your moterhship. and can shoozt it apart. mabe then your deff should fire too on the mothership

It's not any more annoying than those with everything devoted to covert.

you know what would be cool, a covert mothership one you send in and if its lucky it fires on the other mother ship then runs away reall quick like a sneek attack, it can only be done like once a day cause once the ship is attacked it goes to high alert

LOL. I got massed in this way....but meh, no different from high covert, high strike, and low defence. Some people are just chickens.

but it only works if the other player has a mothership. so a non-mothership player can win easy against the mothership player. its a risk they take ^_^

I agree with most of the comments above - makes sense to me that if you attack someone with mainly a mothership and only a few troops, then you will not lose many troops.

However - what would make it interesting (and I am with Flavar on this one) is if you needed to train units to crew the mothership - and the more weaponry you have, the more units you need - now that would be realistic - and would definately put a stop to any 'abuse'.

But, a mothership should still be able to do damage independently of other forces accompanying it.

I like the mothership on mothership combat, I always thought they could be of more use than just supporting ground troops. Seems a lot closer to reality than having them just sitting there doing nothing against an enemy mothership.

Can't see why having a better mothership and using it is would be classed as a form of abuse!? Thats like saying having a higher attack than an opponents defence and using it to your advantage when attacking is abuse. Which is clearly absurd

ancient satelite weapon should destroy every mother ship automaticly if it gets off the first shot... that would roxors amusingly... and people would leave ancients alone if they hava mothership... meaning asgard ascend to the ultimate defense...
