all depends if he knew about it and planned for it, but then again after an ascension he woulda been easier to farm (only mercs defending) so even if he planned to abuse it woulda been risky.

congrats to HE first thing, now, if in fact it is a glitch......then HE know that he has to give it up. The only bad thing this will do is ruin the wave. I don't know if its possible to reset back 3 or 4 days but that would be the only way to fix this or admin would have to reset the entire wave and give everyone a credit on the $$ they spent on the wave thus far.

Idk if HE should be banned for exploiting a bug, but if it is a bug then it his ascension should be stripped from him still just the same. HE is one of if not the best player in Q, and he know all the tricks....but bug exploiting is a banned-able offense. Guess we all have to see what Jason says on Friday.

If its not changed then I would just like to congratulate HE on the win this wave...as its over and he won.

congrats to high empty... i haven't spoke to anyone, i just read the post. and be a bug, an exploit, a tactic, or pure luck it seemed to be a good power move and i commend you on it. now to say there should be punishment or something for income bugs .... i dont think so. can't remember exactly which wave but everyone will remember when we had the income bug before. when it mattered if top players would let you go under them to get SS bonus and the income was huge compared to what it should have been. and no one publicly wrote about it til closer to end of wave and there were no punishments or rank changes. so i dont think it should be here either. tactics is using every part of the game to win. whether your being massed and join them as officer in order to repair. whether you are sabbed out in war times and last day. its all tactics and i commend you on it.

I have heard that the "income glitch" is not actually a glitch but a game feature similar to some other things which seem to be glitches, however I (and those who have told me) could be wrong. I have seen at least one other use it in game before though.

Income is calculated based on income formula which is known. Any income that doesn't work by that formula is bugged.
That formula doesn't allow income with 0 miners and 0 UU to be 7T +

A feature is something that is allowed within formula's parameters. That means having an income of 1T without any miners, just with regular UUs is a feature which is allowed as it's within the parameters of formula to calculate income. If you aren't dumb and train all your UUs into miners and get a few times bigger income, that's allowed too as it's within formula's parameters.

Once again, income with 0 miners and 0 UUs has to be, using the formula, 0. Any income higher than 0 is a bug that is being abused. While 1 turns income isn't much at all, 250 turns income certainly is a lot, well more than that, it is a HUGE abuse of bug.

Apollo you're very wrong, I didn't pay a cent for this game.

Ace, perhaps I have, a turn. Maybe 2, I don't know. I know I didn't buy an USS at that time to abuse the bug, that's what I know for sure.
I didn't get out played, I got beaten by cheating. But alas, if you want to support cheaters go ahead, why don't you start cheating as well? Might save you the trouble and get you a rank or two up at the end.

Not saying anyone is right or wrong, but we all have to wait to see what Jason/admin has to say....if it is a bug(0 miner with a big income) and it was taken advantage of...then something would and should be done. I'm just as stupid as some and never really noticed it. That is my fault, I prob would have done it in his place, but I would completely understand that it could be taken away from me as well because it is a bug.

The whole thing is that I don't think admin had any idea that game was going to grow so fast...the banks are not even going to be close to big enough at the end, this wave is kind of a bust. Its a great idea but think it needs a little more work.

Really, by this time next week everyone that plays daily will be lvl12 and there really won't be any chance for anyone that HE wants to mass, sab or anything for that matter....if he want you to finish with nothing, guess what happens?

The income "bug" is not a bug. And it has been this way for ages.
Your income stays like it is unless you:
1) Manually train/untrain miners.
2) Change Alert Level.
3) Change % of income given to officer
4) Wait for turn change.

Since HE did none of these, his income stayed the same. It's not a bug, or an exploitation of one, but instead a very wise move on HE's part.

That's how it is, and always has been.
If you don't like that, then how about use the Suggestions forum.
Not make a thread accusing someone of cheating.

actually a big bug exists here because the fact you ascend, if you know how to play it properly, you can make massive gains on ascensions

Yup this has been this way for a long time.
The bonus in prior waves was minimal,
but ascension multipliers this has been exasperated, not sure if that makes it an exploit now...or a bonus.
There was some discussion on this early in the wave when the first few ascension started.

As far as the U$$ move... = Mastermind IMHO.
