Please help:
I sold some UU for Naq yesterday (Sat) - as I usually do, I sent first. I always do as I only trade with people who I can see have traded ok before. The problem is this guy refuses to give me my Naq. This morning I thought I would sab him to kingdom come (which I can quite easily) but I don't want to 'cos I'm not sure if he's right in what he's saying:
I sent him 100k UU but:
'1% of Military Units Transferred will defect, never to be seen again.'
Now, when I've traded UU before (sending or receiving) I've counted the number of UU that actually leave the Realm (in my case 100k UU) - it's irrelevant that some defect when trading but this guy says he hasn't actully received 100k and that people always send the exact amount to the Realm. It's only a small amount I know but that's not the point - and this is how I've always traded before.
Any info/help is appreciated - I think this guy is prob just taking the p*** and has no intention of giving me my Naq.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry if in wrong forum.

no the normal way to trade is that you send the ammount you sold. if it is done otherwise it has to be clearly stated. and even then he would have to pay you atleast 99 % if youtr money. i think he is a scammer. If you want i will have a word with him.

Maybe, we discussed the deal beforehand and it wasn't mentioned.
Anyway, thanks for the info and help. I got nearly all my naq, the rest I took from him via sabbing his weapons (lost a few Spies though).
I hope he doesn't go crying to his Alliance 'cos I'm stuffed if he does

If things played out like you said they did, I doubt s/he will find much sympathy here. As far as I know, there is no written rule saying that 1% of deserters must be covered by the sender. At the same time, be aware of the caption in red below where you entered the amount to send. It's give not lend, and not part of the official market, so it's at your own risk. There was no promise that you would get any naq, even though you talked about a deal beforehand.
Many pple here have little patience for scammers, but aren't necessairly here to fight your battles for you. That being said, if you we legitimatly scammed(oxymoron?), then you will more than likely find allies here(on the forum not specifically in this section or thread).
What's my point: Careful with who you trade. It's give not lend, and a black market trade. Please visit the trade feedback section to find some good traders. If anything, at least, you can post something on his/her feedback thread to reflect your distain, within forum rules, over the trader and his/her practices.

first of all, how much naq were you trading for the 100k UU, the ingame market offers quite a bit of naq itself for 7000k UU. with a trade like that u can get 18-19 billion naq at the current moment
and since this was a black market trade we had no obligation to force the scammer to pay back the naq
