After he attacked a planet of mine on beta, with two plats on, the defence facilities and the powers were irregular.
As you can see there is about 52,968 defences totaling 153,009,000,000 defence power where as the other one, 51,701 defences is putting out 155,103,000,000 defence power, the latter platform, or number 2, has the correct value, the other one has a lower one defence that it shouldnt have.
Adding one defence to the first plat resets it to the correct defence.
