I will say this one more time and then I give up.

I am sorry the player quit. I never like to see a player quit but how many players here, and I mean the good ones, got massed for hits on alliances who are maybe trigger happy and then said, I quit aftre being massed.

And, in some ways you can blame his alliance. When I was a member of the Horus Guard, 200 jaffa units I was sent a list of alliances and players who could mass me if I hit them. Information is key.

And I will state it again. THAT WHAT DOES NOT KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.

He/she should of took a deep breath, and with his alliance friends get back on the horse.

A little story. I started the game and this player called Priller was a pain. He farmed me and I hit him back. He massed me, quite a few times. I could of quit. i did not. 1 year later, he hit one of my officers and I massed him. Told him to set peace and we are good or I would start to farm him. He set peace.
The moral is, do not give up and one day you can get even.

Reminds me of how I got massed multiple times to the point where I had only had a few hundred thousand units. I kept going. I agree, persevere.

Lots of words, not much detail, who left the game ? Did he/she leave just for being massed ?

1) Roket, you know I like ya mate but please talk less, say more

2) Pointless massings have always happened and always will, so anyone who cant take one shouldnt play this game

3) SS, you know I respect you for building HVE and all your work training and helping noobs, but really if your guy lost a lot its because he had to much trained and made himself a target for massers

Everyone starts somewhere mezz, there is a reason for training alliances and not everyone can handle war or being slaughtered for no reason right out of the gate. If every one of them left right now, this game would be even more of a void.

Eventually those players grow into stronger people, some go on to be avid massers, skilled fighters, and strong parts of the community. Others grow to take the massings and just do whatever they enjoy in the game. But that requires time, patience, and understanding.

I've spent the last three years providing that to players, making sure they do stay in the game, grow, and become something. Some move on, some stay and take up the cause with me. Doesn't matter. The fact is some people just need that shield for a little while until they get their sea legs. They should not be shot down because of that.

I don't know why reaper left, I'm sure being massed was part of it. But maybe it occurred to him that he wouldn't be able to fight back himself? Maybe he thought that would be pointless and then saw how pointless the game is when that happens. Some players don't like when others figt for them. I know I don't. So yes, perhaps the massing is what caused him to leave, but not the loss in units but the loss in enthusiasm itself, the loss of interest, and the loss of caring.

A simple pm, would have taken care of it all. Would have ensured no more hits on anyone in ricos. Would have kept a player in this game, who knows what that player would accomplish. Perhaps the warmonger of 2011? Who knows... I know I don't and I guess now noone will.

I'm not trying to sound like anything. I've only been awake for about an hour or so, was only going to bank and re-ppt >_>

I probably won't post in this thread for a while after this. As it won't really accomplish anything, people don't change and neither do their views. Me posting changes nothing, affects nothing. So I'm going to go eat breakfast now, good day

So like i said before if cloud village is a training alliance for im guessing leaf village than leaf village should have told cloud village not to hit ricos cause i know leaf village knows about ricos one hit mass policy i was in TATs and got massed by ricos and nobody said anything i was new then my alliance said oh it happens you shouldnt have hit them so cause some poor scvhmuck quit its a big deal if he really wanted to play a war game he would have rebuilt and tried again like i had to do many times cause ive been massed lots and had to start from nothing with no resources many times so tell me why now

This is partially correct it was pug only problem that I can tell is the killing blow was roket either way I am only stating a fact with no malice I have been massed before but it wont stop me!

Yea, while Roket might of not done most of the damage, his 'victory/bragging' thread about the entire event was rather untasteful in my opinion and many others i'm sure.

As even I said earlier, sure people mass for 1 hit, it's been that way since before i got here and that was a good while ago, BUT most people use their heads. You don't usually find threads bragging about beating down an alliance that wouldn't even stand a chance against one of the members of said alliance (except mH/TL see SoL I keed).

You're wrong. Many people would do differently. I've believe that's been said by many already.

yes i saw what they typed but yet guild and tet double teamed Roket but thats justified right because he massed a whole alliance and others said it to from many alliance and trust me im not trying to start **Filtered** with JT cause i like him but his alliance massed me over 1 hit many times but now since it was Roket its wrong thats being a hypocrit

WHEN and IF he shows remorse for some of the comments his mouth has made then perhaps he can be considered in a different light, however, at the moment it's more likely that his mouth will make another comment and he will be permabanned from forum.

Too true, but Roket invited public criticism when he opened this thread, also Ricos might mass for farming, some others mass just for speaking out against them.

Not commenting on Roket here but many others that are talking absoulete bull, you all go blah blah blah the chap should have been told and so **Filtered** on, yet any actual allaince or player would have looked at the chap they were going to mass over and seen if he was kinda new to the game or not and then could have decided weather a simple message of warning or an MS mass would have been enough as many many do like OE and MH and a few others. If it was a full feldged player and they knew what they were doing by all means mass.
