Wondering if all this "libels/defamation" that are told without restrain, respect Forum policy and rules, that we all agreed to respect when we did create our account.
I really didn't saw Forums Admins to gave warnings in this topic, for this kind of issue, starting with the Topic NAME.
Cause, really this is all I see: Libels / slanders / defamation / backbiting and it suppose to be a Vendetta/WAR declaration topic.

I would request that all users remember section 9 of the new rules

Section 9: Moderator Respect
Users are required to be respectful while addressing moderators who are acting in an official capacity. Moderators are likewise expected to be respectful to users while operating in an official capacity. Moderators will get no special treatment while posting as a user. If one party ceases to be respectful, that does NOT give the other party the liberty to respond with disrespect.

This extends to private messages and reports. If you message a staff member with demands or insults, or if you file a report with demands or insults, it will not be acceptable and may be ignored.

Consequence:
Users who are disrespectful to moderators or staff members will receive a verbal warning. Repeat offenders will receive one warning point. Issues about Moderators being disrespectful will be handled internally.

Warnings will be given and have been given for other breakages of the rules. If you don't think something has been addressed then REPORT the post and explain your issue with it. One of the Mods will then relook at the issue/post and decide.

Don't make assumptions that nothing has been done.

actually in ireland the word "scum" is one of the worst possible words to label someone by. its used against druggies, rapists, paedophiles, etc. Loads of people of different countries/cultures have different "meanings" to words, so i would not be so quick to call someone pathetic for reacting differently to a word you might not think so much of.

In my experience; words with no definitive meaning and/or consisting of socially constructed meanings and implications are, in a literal sense, meaningless to the individual insofar as the individual has the capacity to dismiss the meanings out of hand.

Allowing oneself to be adversely effected by such words is irrational and often attributed to internal conflicts, particularly pertaining to the self image of the individual.

If someone were to call me scum, regardless of any meanings placed upon the word in my society, I would laugh. "lol... Me? You are mistaken."

Being self-assured and secure within yourself is the surest defense against irrational outbursts in reaction to meaningless commentary.

Debate not the meanings of the word "scum" in your society, instead reassure yourself of who you are and move past it with a lol.

well said roket but my braodband service are not doing it in my area anymore so iv lost the net im now on vac mode till i can figure something out they have a wimax thing but i dont want to get that because its crap and i have to pay to switch over + i want to move in the new year so would be a waste of money if i get it now and move after xmas since they dont install on flats
