:roll: I find it disturbing, that EVERY discussion that has happens on these forums ends up with the following ultimate arguments:

1. Get a life. I do not play/am inactive/on vacation mode cause I have a life and you have none.

2. You spend a lot of $ on the game (like someone actually does know how much others do spend on the game without seeing their paypal records lol), I do not thus you are not playing fair.

3. By massing someone you drive players away. So best do nothing, attack only inactives as attacking active players will only drive them away. So it might be best to go on vacation as not to be even tempted to attack anyone.



You guys, got to get a grip. Play the game and do not come up with new excuses why you do not every second day or at least change the tune.


PS: Spending money on a hobby = taking it too serious : Does that imply that I take too serious everything I spend money on?

Good Job at twisting my words around Deni... JT, said that someone takes the game to seriously... All I said was he is way more serious about the game, than BMMJ13. I didnt say anything about how wrong it was that he spends his money on whatever he wants to. He earned it he has that right! Didnt say anything about the random massings, some people still enjoy it and will continue... I use to random mass all the time, big deal... People quitting because of 1 massing, is stupid... Wouldnt have made it far to begin with... Ive dealt with random massings when I was a lil guy way back. I rebuilt and moved on.

Why not declare a Vendetta? Oh Ive pm'd JT on that matter, and he rejects a vendetta everytime... Infact, JT has never had a "real" Vendetta...

Now if players leave and stop playing after a few random masses, then what chance is there that they would've actually reached the high points of the game and become a serious fighter? Pretty much none. In which case, they make better farms than opponents whether they're active or not.

I'm finding it amazing that those that yell at Ricos when they do it, are silent atm..

Also find it funny that JT vetoed anyone in DDE from joining Harchs attempt to bring the Educators back, blacklisted anyone with a Harchester fan sig.. and is now leading this.

to add my own oppinion to deni's answers

1) I have a life, but it involves college, work and most importantly : being a single mom, so when i'm stuck at home looking after them I could be either A) cleaning the house mindlessly B) Playing GW and chatting to my alliance mates... (everyones lives are different, and being online does not mean you don't have one)

2) I don't spend money on the game, well a grand total of £15 in the last year...BUT if no body spent money on the game, it would not exsist, it has to pay for itself because otherwise there'd be no reason for the people who run it to run it (do you go to work for free? no..you expect to be paid). Oh and if spending money on something you get pleasure from means your taking it to seriously, then I guess I must take shoes to seriously.

3) Its a war game, the attack button exsists for a reason, as do the raid button, the saab button and all the others. There is no set of rules as to what is a fair 'return of fire' you might not like to play that way, but it is part of the game. if you get massed you can always set peace and surrender, anyone with an ounce of decency will accept that, even if you deserved the massing, (unless you really really deserved it of course) but remember, nobody has the right to force you to play their way!

personally I don't random mass, (well not totally random, i sometimes teach people who appear in our logs the error of their ways) I'm not one of DDE's warmongers. But I have been random massed and I did not ever whinge about it. (tho I do begrudge being dragged into forum discussions that I don't want to be involved in, cos some people are just plain rude on here)

everyone plays their own game, but you have to accept that no one is going to tender foot (won't let me use the kitten word)around you, YOU are part of the game, your naquetah is a target, your stats are a target, your UU is... mine if I see it. don't take it too seriously, its nothing personal and remember that every player is a person, most of them are quite nice and approachable, some of them just forget that you are a person too.

if you want to sit back and just grow, then just stay out of active logs, lone wolfs as well as alliances, and don't make yourself a target, and you should be (mostly) safe.

who are we kidding here they are Napped with the only big alliances in the game so everyone alse is just duck season for them and tobad that everyone alse can't compete with them

Harch i would agree with ya on the Random massing thing any day of the week but driving away players with this game is Bad lmao we are lucky to get 1 player per week and thats by chance of a friend of a person already playing.

Interesting how it's double standards about this. Is not the educators reason why some of DDEs current members ran to DDE for protection? Yet you feel like it's a good idea to turn around and do the same thing, and you can't even do it as good as they could. The Random Asses just never will sound as good as the The Educators.

it makes me laugh that people say players run to DDE for protection, most new recruits start in DoC, unless they are already proven fighters. prior to joining DDE I had been massed maybe 5 times in total. I joined DDE in july 2009, the server war was in full swing, and all new members could expect to be welcomed to DoC in particular, by the rest of the server with 3 or 4 severe massings per day, ...every single day for weeks on end, if you survived that (and you have to prove you can grow your account inspite of it), after probation it calmed down, but it was still a miracle to wake up and find stats. If you were farming, you could expect your farming naq to be snipered ... constantly. I don't see that as protection. ok maybe these days there is an element of that for some people, but they don't last long, sometimes because they still become the prime target for DDE enemies, who mostly pick on our smallest accounts. And also because DDE don't tolorate freeloaders.

DDE rocks, I've been here since i was a mere 28 million army prior, and I'd never ever dream of leaving.
