Now if players leave and stop playing after a few random masses, then what chance is there that they would've actually reached the high points of the game and become a serious fighter? Pretty much none. In which case, they make better farms than opponents whether they're active or not.
Random massing has been around since the beginning, why's everyone making such a fuss over it now? Dont remember this kinda support against it back when I was a super noob what changed??
there was a lot of support against it, you weren't forum active then.... why do you think the educators were drummed out of game.. I'm finding it amazing that those that yell at Ricos when they do it, are silent atm..
Also find it funny that JT vetoed anyone in DDE from joining Harchs attempt to bring the Educators back, blacklisted anyone with a Harchester fan sig.. and is now leading this.

and your mute point being?
Interesting how it's double standards about this. Is not the educators reason why some of DDEs current members ran to DDE for protection? Yet you feel like it's a good idea to turn around and do the same thing, and you can't even do it as good as they could. The Random Asses just never will sound as good as the The Educators.
what if you were one, do we get a head start in the sounding as good as
Or a new name can be made, a better one...somthing like...

i dunno was just thinking out loud
Even if you hear a bad story about me, Understand that there was a time I was good to those people to, But they won’t tell you that...
There have always been different ways to play this game and people that play to mass others are of course more than welcome to their way of playing. It is indeed part of the game. I've personally never massed someone without good reason nor do I ever plan on doing so, but that's my way of playing. I have often said that the consequences of randomly massing players, especially newer ones, can be unfortunate and I am personally saddened when I see it make people leave the game. Of course that's been happening since the beginning of the game and will continue to do so, but that doesn't mean that losing a player is any less cause for sadness. We play in a shrinking sandbox.
Now all this talk about money spending and caring too much about the game is missing the point. I fully admit I've spent money on this game (not a ton, but hey I'm a poor grad student who hasn't gotten his tax return yet) and I also admit that this game is too much a part of my life for my own well-being. Case in point, I am writing this post instead of writing my proposal which needs to get done right about now. Shoot, I'll even admit I care too much about this game. That said, we have built a community here. A shaky community that bickers and fights and insults eachother every ten seconds, but it's a community nonetheless. One that has helped enrich my life and I reckon helped to enrich most of the rest of your lives too. So yes, it will be a sad day when this community does indeed finally die and I hope that day is a very long way off (and it should be as long as we keep it interesting and fun).
So yes, I don't like random massing, even though everyone here has absolutely every right to do it. I, however, find massing for a cause, fighting for your alliance, shoot even just fighting to prove that you or your alliance are the best and strongest is far more worthy. Give the boys and girls a real show. That's how to gain admiration and respect and to be remembered. Then maybe the new people that are still just starting out will be inspired and want to keep playing until they can be as strong and admired as you!

You and I both know this is more than a game. It's a community. We have friends here. Many of us have family here. Shoot, I have friends from SGW that I've known longer than a good percentage of my real life friends. Think of all the fun you've shared ingame, on forums, on msn or teamspeak with your alliance mates or others you know from the game. I love this game for the action and the fighting and the warfare and the massings and all the insanity and forum politics that goes with it, but that pales in comparison to the community I've been a part of and the people I've been able to meet because of this game.

good times I remember the server war way back when!!
I believe destroying one's account as a holiday gift is a useless action. I also believe that those who would take the time to mass several people on HOLIDAYS should head to E-Bay and buy a can of "Social Life" - sugar-free version. Shouldn't exceed 1/2 $.

Lets see Ricos randomass TL ? (oh wait Harch loves TL too much) Lets see Omega mass the whole of TPP (Oh wait that would cause political up roar) Lets see TL mass TDD (Oh wait , thats never gonna happen)
It is harder for bigger players to random mass bigger players when the politics of tags gets in the way
