Dear Knight, our time of rest doth approach its end and one does hope ye have rested well. For now thine willst have seen mine heralds in your land. Mine intentions they have declared for as thou have consorted with aliens, much to mine dis-amusement, knowest ye Fair Knight that my forces have captured said foreign beings.

Reluctant were they to reveal their power but my forces do question well and relentlessly and thus was their ability revealed. And so dear Knight, I do lay this challenge that though shouldest rescue them, thought their power does now rest temporarily in mine realm.

Fear not though, Fair Knight, I do know that this foreign ones shall disappear from mine realm and with the traditional time of recreation approaching my troops shall let them go for my forces do find great pleasure in pursuing thine forces.

The battles have been past but the battles lie ahead.

24 hours earlier....

Under cover of darkness buck leads his warlords on an excursion into Lady Tekki's Realm...

...Upon arrival they are immeidatly set upon by the savages of the replicators middle age'd men. Drawing his sword, buck remembered the oath of allegiance he took to protect his good friends the nox, as they had protected him...

...Although the battle was bloody, and buck stood with less than a third of his men than when the battle began, he stood upon the ruins of Tsuyosa, her cannons once so powerful, now rusted and destroyed, the Whitestar gleaming in the moonlight, its battle scars ran deep, but she still had work to do....

..."Onwards men! For there are many spies hidden in this land!" Rounding up and dispatching thousands upon thousands of spies, a noise was heard, And buck looked toward the heavens.... The NOX! I have found you, I hath not forsaken thee! I have come to....

"STOP!"

...The Nox , as always, took great distain to the work done by buck, for although it was done in their name, the nox are a peaceful people, they summoned the warlord toward their council, and declared he leave the fair ladys realm at once, lances and all. And so he took his leave, the return, blocked by the nox... Curse them, for they have cursed us both, and vowed never to help either one of us again!

... The storey and blood continue on.

Forsooth dear Knight, it seemeth to me that our time of conflict has come hither.

In both realms the aliens have been banished and though we did try, a time of suitable alertness was not discovered and thus our conflict did end sedately, with whimper not with bang. Alas for commanders though troops do rejoice. Perhaps another purpose for them does await. Mayhap though, a time of mutual convenience shall yet be discovered.

This battle was not entered into for malice or rancour but for the proof and pursuit of honour and glory.

Fair knight, I thinkest thou did learn as did I that many things have changed, but some remain the same. I will leaveth up to thine imagination what mayst remained unchanged for there is little mirth in telling all and thus some mystery remains.

I wish thee farewell fair Knight but knowest thou, that thine doest have ability and thy honour is redeemed but I am ever one to be watchful and knoweth that honour must be maintained and it is never earned in the battles of tomorrow.

[spoiler=]We didn't get our onliner, because our mutual time zones are bad and we both had very busy weekends it seems.

It was an interesting experience and I have noticed various things changed ingame and I don't particularly like the mutual war setting, even if I understand the reason for it. It makes things too easy IMO but so be it.

The 10million assimilators lost were not to Buck but were when I accidentally hit someone ranked 25k for naq, who had 10t defence. How the hell do you get to rank 25k with 10t defence!?!!! And of course that includes the farming for the week though farming with 50million normal attackers is nervous!
