Brothercrit did this to perfection by being sent a good percentage of the units of his alliance (Shagadelic Warriors if anyone remembers them) and selling a portion of his naq generated for $$ to keep buying supporter bonuses and using the rest to fund his alliance's actions. Shortly thereafter, Jason put a limit on PPTs to twice in a week (also, interestingly enough he added a rule making accounts purely there for selling resources for $$ illegal...a rule that I presume still exists but is never enforced).

Indeed, the perpetual idea was that it might be done with $$, and as it would be unable to without spending $$I would have figured this as one of its few dishonest advantages ... but seeing as its not the case ....
And if I had 160$ to spent on the game ... well .. never realy thought of that .... I shouldnt either, cos I never ;P
