oh look... an update lead to a "the game is dying" thread... shocker...

The game will last as it always has. The membership playing might change, but those of us as addicted as we are will be here until the lights click off.

past greats have retired before, new one/s emerge..

I personally like ascended how it was about this time last year (before the first doubling of ToC)... but I guess the change has made ppl that thought they were safely undecendable start playing it again.

and if you don't like ascended you can always become daimons

I am pretty sure that you are right with that.

While you can argue how much i still play^^ its clear to me that i wont leave if i have the choice.

just a few days ago i caught myself thinking about getting more active again and to search and support some newbies as commander.

So no the game does not die.

But all this panic about ascended makes me log on there more often

this update has been request to gang accounts

actually even if one has a 4b TOC he/she might not be able to descend another active unless his friends at same toc steps in resulting in a gang vs 1.
once more time ascended proves to be the wrong server or just a minor clone of main instead of being a personal game play.
this updates clearly force ppl to check often their accounts while they used to log once / week or twice for some 4 years. changing at this point is not a win cuz u ve more players struggling not to quit then new players.

I believe the ganging up idea has been shot down by many, i'd be surprised to see that make an appearance

ganging up on accounts isn't a new concept.. DDE had decention teams going and I'm sure other powerhouses have done it in the past.

Not what they mean. There was a suggestion of multiple people being able to hit at the same time to descend more powerful accounts (Multiple Attacks every 3 hours), rather than what you are thinking of where multiple people hit over time (but only one attack every 3 hours) to descend an account.

No, but it has been suggested in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=180325. I believe many have said it is quite a bad idea that makes it easier for those too lazy to actually do the work keep up with those who have put effort into the server.

no it's not worth playing. I came into the game thinking I will buy a good account and play for fun but I only got dissapointed by many people.. new players don't stand a chance due to bulling that some players practice. New players can't chatch up

but let me correct myself in what I said, I wanted to play from scratch to build an account but soon I found it impossible, and so is for many other noobs. then I thought hei, I'll buy an account, but during my struggle to get there I think I changed my mind due to certain players bulling. I'm sure there are still good players here and I've traded with some of them but still

This is how i see it.

I must now farm DMU so i can make my account undescendable, for good hits i hit active ppl, which descend me. And so on (infinite loop)

In main, i farm and i get massed for farming those who have **Filtered** on silly amounts. So i build even a bigger strike and farm even bigger ammount. And i get zeroed again, sure i'm pissed i return the favor and farm again.

In the end its the infinite loop of a stale mate.

But i still play. I wonder why.

... still worth to play? ascended multiple TOC dmged main game... all good players are quiting, there aint many new players...
can this game survive for another half year?

Updates, no updates..there is nothing happening to attract new players aside from the few that actually recruit in other forum areas....I dont think game updates is the answer to that, more of a help..VISUALS is what attracts, we need the visuals updated if anything..its fairly easy to get new people to register and check it out, but with the other games going that LOOK better they will be inclined to stick with one of those if at all. VISUALS PEOPLE..GRAPHICS will work.
