Well i recently raided 40million UU so i dont want to ascend and loose all that, i heard u can get supporter status with tthe 1001 points, but does that get rid of them? do i have to start my g n r collecting all over again to ascend??

You can use your 1001 G&R to get Market Support Status which allows you to use the brokers and all that jazz. The points do then disappear and you must accumulate them again though.
